I spent a lot of years becoming really good at something I don't necessarily want to do anymore.

That's a strange thing to admit at 51.

Lately, I've been learning things I have absolutely no background in—AI being one of them. Some days I feel brilliant. 😂 Other days, I have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing.

But it's reminding me that my past experience doesn't have to determine what I'm allowed to become next.

I can still be a beginner.

And maybe that's what this next chapter is asking of me.
