If not for the price of African food abroad ehn, tell me what land in Abuja somebody cannot buy? 😩
You’ll enter an African or Asian store just to pick one small item, but by the time that debit alert lands, it will touch your soul walahi.
If you’ve found a way around this substituting one thing for another, abeg, share your hacks with us o biko.
For me, I’ve learnt to hold on tight to spinach and kale. Honestly, what is ugu again? 😂😂 These ones do the job perfectly, and they’re even sweet! Lentils too, solid replacement for beans though my husband will still request for beans 🤦♀️
But goat meat? I’m still searching for that substitute o, because nothing comes close.
So tell me, my people, what have you been swapping that still keeps the proper Naija vibe alive?
Because one thing is sure: that land in Abuja? We must still buy it o!
