Gonna be making a video on this soon, but just wanna quickly get my own statement about generative AI out of the way now.

I will never knowingly use AI generated content in any of my videos. Both the ethical and environmental concerns of using generative AI are more relevant than ever these days, and on top of that, I don't want to contribute to the AI slop problem that has been plaguing YouTube more and more over the past few years.

I cannot guarantee that I will never use an AI generated image by mistake, as they are getting harder to differentiate from the real thing, but I will never do so intentionally. The sole exception will be if I am using it to illustrate a point ABOUT generative AI, as I will be doing in this upcoming video.

Given that it's been nearly a year since the Guitar Hero 1 review, at this point, I think it's probably about time to officially declare the Guitar Hero 2 review cancelled. I didn't intend to put it off for so long, I recorded all the gameplay footage for it just a couple days after the GH1 review went up, but a lot of different circumstances resulted in me putting it off, and the longer I put it off, the less I found I actually wanted to do it.

So, I'm calling it here. The Guitar Hero reviews will not be continuing.

Update on the Guitar Hero 2 review: it's probably not gonna get done this month.

Honestly, this past month has been pretty rough, and I've just not had the motivation to actually sit down and write much of anything.

I do plan to make it eventually, I'm just not sure when that will be.
