Hi everyone, after three weeks of new treatment and heart surgery, I got out and went back to work the following week , I got really I’ll again ended up in the swah hospital Enniskillen, which they let me home on antibiotics, over that weekend at home I became really I’ll and subsequently I had to go to Belfast city hospital we’re they treat me and know me . This is a little update so you can hear how things are going . Thanks everyone for the kind words and messages much appreciated in a time like this , hope to see you all soon when I get out this Friday, be good 👍

💛 Update from Belfast City Hospital

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that I’m currently at Belfast City Hospital receiving a new treatment plan for multiple myeloma — a type of blood cancer.

I’m doing pretty well overall, though it’s had its tough moments. It started off quite challenging: I developed heart palpitations and have faced a few complications along the way. This is something we’re managing and it’s all being addressed and hoped to be settled within the next two weeks.

Because of everything going on, if you don’t hear from me quite as often for a little while, you’ll know why — I’m still here, focused on getting through it all.

I’d like to thank every one of you from the bottom of my heart, for every text message and also phone calls which have been sent my way. It has meant the absolute world to me and kept me going through a really difficult time. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Thank you all so much. 💪

So if you remember I found a old Neolithic tomb in really bad shape, well someone must have seen it and yes it looks like it’s being cleaned up a bit which is great news for all us historians , very well done to those involved

I was so proud of my grandson Louie who won gold medal in the Fermanagh feis , for conversation in Irish and his little brother looking on too, well done Louie

Something iam going to do in the next few weeks is make a video on the little forts that are all over Fermanagh , these are marked clearly on old maps with the word ford beside them and on the app side by side you can see then and now , were these forts or something else ? Coming soon ..

Such a beautiful day break and a beginning of my new chemo , I’ve had a break from everything, including filming as I was so I’ll with a bad flu and chest infection, but iam ok now and restarting my chemo again , this time of year I find I dodge the flu as everyone seems to have it , probably a good thing I work outside, please all take care over this period and keep warm.

So miley went through her operation and unfortunately had 6 teeth extracted, she is doing fine now just a lot of licking and sleeping, , but very comfortable now that she’s home .
The ballyshannon rytheme and blues festival kicks off this Friday 24 th October and runs for three days , plenty to see in all the pubs throughout the weekend, I will be filming on the Saturday and Sunday, so if you see me say hello.

Hi all , my dog miley is sick again one side of her face has swollen , I had her at the vet today she thinks it could be a bad tooth , so we are using antibiotics to clear and then investigate when she’s not in pain , I will keep yous all updated but my priority is to look after her at the minute , iam also back at chemo tomorrow in Belfast , so a lot going on , I will post soon .
