Im super excited to release (Finally) my Metal Eden: Corrupted Memory edition this month via Bandcamp. Putting final touches on it. The remixes by Power Glove and Gunship (which is almost a new song) are crazy good. Super proud of what they put in for all of us to enjoy.

Since the Digipak CD for Meditations of the future sold out in 3 days, i will try something else with this new release. Instead of setting a limited number i will see what the demand is before putting the CD into production. That way, everyone will be able to get a copy. As you know, Im doing this because I believe in the experience of physical media. The Art, the music, holding a product in your hand (also better quality than most streaming services) is something i hold very dear. At the same time you get to support the artist directly so you know where your money is going. Ive attached some mockups of the Digipak. Its a beauty.

Im planning on a few more youtube videos before the years end. Few interviews are planned and a super special composer to composer talk with another dude you all know. Cross your fingers it will happen.

Hey guys,

Just letting you know, the latest METAL EDEN Release trailer dropped. Coming sept 2nd. Reikon Games is a small dev based out of Poland and they have previously made the awesome RUINER. Please consider supporting them, they worked hard on this little fps gem. Its a bit like Ghost in the shell meets Doom and it wont be premium priced (which is always nice).

Here's what you need to know: There will be an official soundtrack where i will be sharing my work with the awesome in-house composer of Reikon, Wiolation. However, a bit after the games release I will release my own edition of this soundtrack with some guest surprises. Think of it like NIN just did for Tron. I consider this my follow up to Doomsday in way and its cool releasing an artist record based off a game so there is a visual reference.

woohooo 5k subs. A small number, I know, but I do appreciate each and every one of you. Kinda late to the YouTube game but Im gonna give my best to get you guys great music, behind the scenes and maybe share some "war" stories with another composer or two.

I might do some live streams from the studio where you can watch me writing and noodling around. Kinda like Deadmau5 used to do.

Thanks for the all the nice comments on the Deus Ex music videos. Yes, hard to believe it's been 10 yrs already since MD. It really was a dream job at the time and I think Mankind divided was vastly underrated because some weird politics got in the way. I still think it looks and sounds good even for today's standards. I will see what I can dig out of the Deus Ex music vault for some exclusive content.

As you noticed, there is a sudden increase of content. I have plans for a lot more, incl. rare unfinished cues from Deus Ex, Dystopika and the upcoming Metal Eden.

Talk about Metal Eden. For those who don't know: Reikon Games are responsible for RUINER, a fantastic Cyberpunk isometric shooter. It's available on STEAM for $20. I put my heart and soul into the Metal Eden music so I hope ya'll will support it once it comes out. There will be a few surprises for my own soundtrack release (physical cd) with remixes from artists I personally love. More soon.

As for YouTube: Im curious what kind of content you like to see. As a niche composer, its hard to gauge what the (still rather small audience) wants to see, except the obvious. Yes, i have more one hour Deus Ex videos in the cue. But I really want to make content that people want to digest and not just marketing newer releases. So please feel free to let me know in the comments.

Here's a look at the upcoming Metal Eden game from Reikon games, creators of RUINER. This is one of my tracks playing. ME was more approached as writing a bit of an Artist record then a typical score. There are a few throwback sonic mayhem tracks with some processed guitars. There will also be a physical release (Digipak) of my part of the soundtrack after the game comes out. Stay tuned for more.

Finally happy to announce that I wrote some music for Reikon's (Ruiner) new game "METAL EDEN". Its sorta ghost in the shell meets Doom 2016, and it's a return to form for Sonic Mayhem. It's hard hitting electronica with some mangled guitars here and there. The idea was to not score this in a traditional sense, the in-house composer, Wioleta, did most of the traditional scoring. I wanted to create a mix of artist record slash soundtrack hybrid, sorta like the Matrix (music) OST from 1999. Just cool tracks which mostly play during combat. There is also a theme and a menu track, so this should be a nice mix for everyone.

Release date is May and im planning on doing a series of Videos talking about the music and maybe even do a live event so we can listen to the new music together.

Update March 2024: Well the Quake 2 Vinyl has been out since Jan and is almost sold out. As i said, I do not make a cent of it but since Laced the label put so much work into it, Id appreciate if you all pick up a copy. I will do a few videos in the future incl. an 'unboxing' of the Vinyl and talk a little bit about the making of. Im also planning doing a sort of masterclass for scoring in Video games, if that is something you guys would like to see. I still have a lot to learn i am no streamer and a bit late to the game but better now than never.
