Iāve been playing Death Stranding 2 and I just delivered this Kangaroo from a forest fire, and Kojima put CHVRCHES in the game as Animal Shelter staff npcs for this delivery base. Thatās Lauren Mayberry in the center, the other 2 play instruments/are producers. I knew they had soundtracks in both the first game & this one (you can hear their song play in the Timefall shelter sometimes) but I didnāt think Kojima would include them like this too! Itās funny because this base is in Australia and she has the most distinctive Scottish accent, this is so cool! I also love that they have āWe love animalsā on their shirts.

Btw I as Iāve been playing this game I keep finding myself saying that Death Stranding 2 has to be in main contention for GAME OF THE YEAR, it is a must recommend game especially on PlayStation using their controller for the custom vibrations. I didnāt play the first game but I got hooked into the story when I watched a full recap in preparation for DS2, and so far itās been an unreal experience. The story is surprisingly easy to engage yet has so much more to unpack, Iām only on āChapter 4ā and I have 46 hours played right now. Itās basically everything that MGS5 shouldāve been, calling it a āwalking simulator sequelā is definitely underestimating the shit out of it.

I'm trying to imagine a scenario where boruto's jougan becomes relevant in the manga where it's ideologically opposed to whatever kawaki wants during the stone faces fight. If Boruto has complete control of the eye then he should be aware of his portal to go to other dimensions. The village seems completely destroyed and also very empty, maybe there are other fights going on but I'm going to assume they are alone. Kawaki makes a direct threat saying he will put him into the daikokuten and Boruto retorts with still upholding the ninja way, which sounds like two different conversations. I think that Kawaki went crazy and started yanking people into his Daikokuten and as a counter Boruto sent whoever he could to a safe alternate dimension, so in a way they are both gateways to different paths of what the future of all ninja should be. Because if the world is too dangerous with the threat of Jura, it would make sense that Earth has just become a no mans land and Kawaki and Boruto are fighting on whether the people of the world should be petrified yet also protected in Kawaki's dimension (which is like pad locked room where only Kawaki knows how to get in) or Boruto sending people to an alt dimension that is technically accessible to anyone proficient in space time ninjutsu like Sasuke which would leave a looming threat of Jura eventually finding them but the people still keep their autonomy (Boruto wanting to keep the ninja way)
