Hi everyone, a lot of new glitches have been discovered in Kid Chameleon lately thanks to the efforts made by @Favini01. Many of these glitches require extremely particular circumstances to pull off. Investigating one of these glitches recently, I wanted to figure out all the levels which have 10-diamond blocks in them. Now, actually getting that information would be quite tedious, as it would involve browsing through every level webpage on the Kid Chameleon Wiki to determine. This got me thinking... What if we could condense all of Kid Chameleon's level information into a single spreadsheet? Behold my latest creation, The Kid Chameleon Spreadsheet!
This is meant to be a one-stop shop for all your Kid Chameleon level data questions. Each level contains quantity data for bonuses, prizes, helmets, enemies, blocks, tiles, size, ROM info, etc. You can sort the data by any metric and a bunch of game-wide statistics are included for each metric. Let me know if there are any mistakes or other metrics you would like to see included and I'll add them!
You'll notice much of the data for the block and tile types is missing and limited to a simple Yes/No value. Getting quantity info for these metrics would be way too tedious for me to determine. If anyone knows how to program something that could spit out those missing quantities in the spreadsheet and provide them to me, that could be instrumental in helping us discover the next big glitch! :)
Hey everyone, just wanted to give a quick shoutout to @Favini01, who has been posting Kid Chameleon videos which are similar to that big batch of level TASes I did recently. They recently posted a super impressive video showcasing a new technique for beating bosses with Berzerker insanely quickly. I see this as a major breakthrough as it could save about 15 seconds over the current full-game maximum levels TAS—a big deal!! I also hear "Berzerker destroys Bagel Brothers" is coming soon, so I suggest you subscribe to them and we'll see what else lays on the horizon!
Hey everyone, the notes for the new Vectorman 2 TAS are finally up on TASVideos.org, so if you had any questions about the video, go ahead and check them out! tasvideos.org/8668S
This Saturday, I'm very excited to release a type of video I've never done before. This time, I programmed a bot to play the Intellivision game Astrosmash as accurately and efficiently as possible. Programming hasn't been a particular strong suit of mine so it's crazy the amount I had to learn to bring this project to life. It is by far the best piece of code I've ever written and I'm very proud of the result :)
So, how many points can the bot score and how fast? If you're familiar with Astrosmash at all, prepare to be shocked...
One of my speedrunning accomplishments I'm most fond of is from 2 years back, when I ran Vectorman 2 and Jurassic Park III: Dino Defender at AGDQ2020. It was the first time I got to meet anyone in the community face-to-face, including peaches who signed my boxed copy of Kid Chameleon :P It seems a lot of people subscribed to this channel never even knew I got into a GDQ event so if you've never seen the runs, check 'em out !

Just finished planning out my next TAS for a Kid Chameleon level. Can anyone guess what I'm up to?
