That’s how much it took to change my entire life.

People often ask me:

“Pam, how did you even get here?”

How did I go from an unknown woman, no audience, no offer, no roadmap,
to building a seven-figure business?

Let me take you back.

In a few months, I’ll be celebrating 23 years in business.

Twenty-three years of pivots, reinvention, rebuilding, and resilience.

But do you know the moment it actually shifted for me?

It wasn’t a big launch.
It wasn’t a viral moment.
It wasn’t even a breakthrough client.
It was $27.

Years ago, I joined a coaching program, one I could barely afford.

I borrowed the money.

Almost $8,000 just so I could learn how to build a sales system.

And when I launched it?

It flopped.

Zero conversions.

Not even one pity sale.

I was in debt… embarrassed… confused… and genuinely questioning if I had what it took.

If you’ve ever invested in something that didn’t work, you know that sinking feeling.

I felt it deeply.

Many people in that same program quit.

And honestly? I thought about quitting too.

But the pain of quitting felt heavier than the pain of failure.

So I did something radical.

I tore that whole system apart, line by line, page by page.

And I rebuilt it with my magic:

When I relaunched… I made a sale.

But that tiny number cracked something open inside me.

Yesterday I closed a £7,000 sale, with the simplest offer I’ve made all year.

Here’s the real lesson.

I had five calls booked… and a big problem.

Months of renovation chaos meant I’d dropped the ball on the most fragile part of my funnel:

Qualifying calls.

Recently, I’d spoken to a couple of completely unqualified people — draining my time and energy.

So yesterday, I looked at my calendar and said:

“Pam, protect your time.”

I screened every call.

Then I saw her name and something in me said:

“She’s ideal. Look deeper.”

I researched.

Everything pointed to one truth:

This is someone I can genuinely help.

She showed up to the call and beneath her smile I saw it:

Pain.
Pressure.
A woman carrying far too much.

She didn’t need a long, complicated, multi-layered offer.
She needed simple, fast, clear, doable, powerful.

So that’s exactly what I created.

A clean offer.
Focused.
High-impact.
Light for my team.
Heavy on results.

Then came the moment, the investment.

Here’s what most entrepreneurs get wrong:

They panic after saying the price.
They start talking.
Explaining.
Justifying.

I said the investment and stayed silent.

Confidence speaks loudest in quiet moments.

She said yes instantly.

Not because the offer was big.

But because the offer was clear. Achievable. Exactly what she needed next.

Here’s the truth:

In this economy, simplicity sells.

Complication kills conversions.

If your offer isn’t selling, it’s usually not you.

It’s that the offer isn’t simple or clear enough for someone to say:

“YES, even on my busiest day, I can do this.”

I almost taught my son the wrong lesson yesterday.

And it stopped me in my tracks.

Because it was the same lesson so many entrepreneurs struggle with.

Yesterday, I had to have an uncomfortable conversation with the 11-year-old one I genuinely wish someone had had with me decades ago.

His football team recently added Tuesday evening training.

Between running two businesses, leading an agency, managing a renovation, raising two boys, and holding myself together as a single mum…

Let’s be honest:

I don’t have the bandwidth.
I don’t have the time.
I don’t always have the energy.

But he’s my son and I want him to win. So I show up.

Except… the past three weeks, he missed every session.

Week 1: He was genuinely unwell.
Week 2: I was in meetings and physically couldn’t take him.
Week 3: The excuses started creeping in.

A pattern was forming, silently, subtly, without either of us naming it.

So yesterday, I told him:

“Get ready. I'm taking you to football.”

Five minutes later, my phone rang.

A list of reasons tumbled out:

“I’m tired.”
“My stomach hurts.”
“We’re already late.”
“I won’t enjoy it.”

And for a moment, the mum in me softened.

I wanted to say “Okay love, rest.”

But then clarity hit hard:

If I let him off again, I’d be teaching him the wrong lesson, that excuses matter more than commitment.

And excuses don’t build champions.

Excuses don’t build leaders.
Excuses don’t build dream lives.
Commitment does.

So even though we were 30 minutes late… I put him in the car.

We went.

Because if he understands commitment at 11, his whole trajectory changes.

And here’s the part that applies to every entrepreneur reading this:

Success is not about focus.
Success is not about motivation.
Success is about commitment.

Whatever you commit to becomes a success, not the thing you “try,” not the thing you “hope for,” not the thing you “talk about doing someday.”

Commitment is the real gap between:

wanting and achieving
trying and finishing
dreaming and becoming

As we move toward the end of the year, the temptation is to slow down.

To rest. To coast. To say, “I’ll start fresh next year.”

But this isn’t the time to wind down.

This is the time to wind up.

To plant.
To build.
To choose the version of you that refuses to settle.

The ones who win in 2026 are the ones who commit in 2025.
