Hello! I am a product engineer that likes to design advanced electronic devices on the side and share the design with the DIY/maker community.
I focus on bringing advanced technology and concepts down to earth to inspire future product designers and engineers.

Thanks to all of you for your support and interest in the PositronV3 project! If you want to build a PositronV3, get parts, and get updates on development & manufacturing, please consider joining my Discord Server: discord.gg/SsRZgfud. This server is also a place for people to connect to talk about generally in electromechanical engineering and DIY projects. Let's get the community together to make the Positron Project the best it can be!

Hello Everyone, Thank you very much for your support for my recent 3D printer video. I have bad news and good news; the bad news is that I won't be releasing a build series on Positron V1.2. The good news is that I will be instead releasing a build series on Positron V2.0 in 2.5 months. As I began to edit the V1.2 build guide, I realized that it requires a large CNC, Lathe, and Incredibly good soldering skills as most of the connectors need to be removed for low profile, the cost is also more than 500 dollars, the worm gear also showed considerable signs of wear after 200hrs. This is not worth your time building, so I am designing Positron V2.0 that will fix all of the issues and its going to be even faster. (That is the goal) Please do not buy Positron 1.2 BOM materials. I will post an update as soon as the power bank campaign ends. I hope you understand my decision. If you have any questions, please comment below.

Hello everyone, after a year of hard work, I am excited to announce that the power bank crowdfunding campaign is finally ready to launch in 3 days! I am sorry it took so long, but I had to make sure every part of the design worked as intended reliably (some systems needed a redesign) I thank all of you for your viewership and support that enabled me to finally bring this awesome idea to the market. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them below.
Also, on Tuesday I am also posting my unique DIY 3D printer design, stayed tuned!
You can preview the campaign here: www.indiegogo.com/project/preview/0923bfd5
(btw, Kickstarter rejected the campaign (because I had some renders) so I had to move to Indiegogo, thank you for your understanding.)

Hello everyone, I am also currently working with a team to develop a better general 3D printer slicer software, and we need to do some user research; If any of you 3D print a lot, could you help me out by filling out this quick survey? Thank you very much!!! forms.gle/H4Rp6qugJMCKXimLA

Hello everyone! I am not dead! And I am excited to announce that my successor to the ultimate power bank is now complete! This power bank has native USB PD built-in with a removable battery and is modular in that it can be expanded to ANY form of output; AC, DC, USB, and many others (you will see what I mean in the upcoming video). This power bank is also completely opensource. I am also sorry this took so long, the pandemic certainly disrupted my schedule... The video should be out in less than 5 days. Stay safe everyone!

Just be aware, I just moved my youtube channel from personal to a brand account, (it is better to do it as early as possible) but all my old comments are gone. This is also a big thanks to all of you... I NEVER expected this channel would take off when I first created my account. If you still have any questions regarding my projects, you can re-ask them in the corresponding video and I will try my best to answer them.

Ultimate power bank 2.o final update:
Power bank fully assembled, all systems functions nominally.
Short circuit, over temp, over current, and overcharge protection all tested and functions nominally
30 cycles so far, no anomalies in the batteries.
Automatic cooling system tester-working as expected.
Discharged the power bank at 200W, no overheating problems.
The video should be uploaded before June 3rd.

Ultimate power bank 2.0 Update:
Quick stats about this power bank: (not final) 230mmx80mm, 188Wh max with 15xNCR18650B, but you may use any brand 18650 (even recycled ones) as long as they can deliver 4.5A each safely and close in internal resistance. Power output: 220W max combined, 120W on DC (13.5-35V adjustable), 150W on AC, 36W on USB with quick charge 3.0, 10W on wireless charger. RGB lighting (optional) USB C in and output (optional) You may 3D print the case, but you can also mount everything in a project box. ( it won't be as compact)
I finished CADing all components, haven't decided on the outside aesthetics yet. I have not finished the electrical diagram because I'm still trying to incorporate in over temp protection during charging and discharging.
I'm also working on my speaking skills because I plan to narrate future videos. so I would most likely upload a less intense project as test video in the next week or so. The power bank is currently projected to be completed before July.
Any feedback/suggestions are welcome!
