I hate shorts. I hate clipping my own videos. I totally understand why some people unsubscribed because I keep posting them. The thing is that it seems to be the only way to move channel forward, to grow little by little. My "long form" videos are getting around 100 impressions on average, and the only way to really bring them to people is to clip them, so some of you watch the original.
The craziest thing is how people find my shorts, which is through totally unrelated search queries like "mochi mochi kyoto", "shiva shiva shiva" or "trying thai street food". I'm not even joking, here are some screenshots of how people found my best performing shorts. I guess when people search for VR related topics they get cooking recipes, badger anatomy and history of Guatemala shorts. YouTube is so broken it's absolutely nuts.

My first ever livestream turned out to be a steaming pile of dog shit. I thought that Meta casting webpage goes fullscreen when you start streaming, but it didn't. I thought OBS can record audio from browser, but apparently it can't. I thought Meta Quest can show you live chat effortlessly, as advertised, but all I have seen was a window that said "Something went wrong". First problem is 100% fixable, for the second one I can try some workarounds, but I have literally no idea why Meta Quest can't show me my live chat. Meta Support is rarely helpful in such cases, so if you happen to know how to fix live chat on Meta Quest 3 - feel free to comment or DM me, it would be greatly appreciated if you do.

Sorry, folks, no videos this week! My right controller stick has shit itself, and my entire VR set is now in repair service. They say it has something to do with chipset, so it's bad, and repair like this can take a while, with no definition of "a while" stated yet. I had so many video ideas, and was boiling with excitement to work on them, and it sucks so much to not even know when I'll be able to do that. What a shitty end to a week.
I can only say that I'm getting back to it as soon as my set gets fixed. I appreciate in advance your patience and understanding while your entartainment on my channel being delayed by circumstances beyond my control. With lots of love, your Walter the Jester.
