In our recent SnakeSmart session, Subiksha Venkatesh—a wildlife rehabilitator from ARRC in Bengaluru—took us through snake anatomy, common misconceptions, and key safety tips to promote peaceful co-existence.

Participants tested their knowledge with interactive quizzes, learned how snake bites usually occur only when a snake feels threatened, and discovered a handy web app for snake identification and first aid!

What if a praying mantis could write you a letter? 🦗✉️

In our latest session for Young Birders, 29 nature lovers joined illustrator and educator Sefi George to explore 'Letters from the Wild'.
Participants met Prem, a praying mantis from Bangalore's Lalbagh Garden. Through a letter written from his point of view, Prem shared details about his life, diet, and even his dramatic dilemma of approaching a female mantis!

After reading the letter, the participants:
🌿 Struck praying mantis poses
❓ Solved live quizzes & unscrambled nature puzzles
📝 Wrote and read aloud creative letters from the perspective of wild creatures
