Visakhapatnam Diaries 📸✨ | A story in sea breeze, silence & salty memories

Some journeys don’t just take you places—they bring you back to yourself.
And Visakhapatnam… was one of those.

It started at RK Beach, where the waves rolled in like they knew I had a lot to unlearn. Mornings bathed in gold, people walking barefoot in quiet thought, the rhythm of waves syncing with the rhythm of my heart. 🌊☀️

The Submarine Museum, anchored in memory, reminded me of strength—silent, submerged, and yet so powerful. Standing beside it, I felt small but steady, like life has depth even when it feels still. ⚓🛳️

From way up top—whether it was Kailasagiri or Dolphin’s Nose—I watched the whole city stretch into the horizon. The hum of everyday life looked so peaceful from above, and I realized sometimes, all you need is a little distance to see the beauty of where you are. 🌃🌿

But my freedom moment?
It came quietly—on a breezy afternoon by the shore, barefoot in the sand, no phone in hand, no thoughts demanding space. Just the sound of waves, wind in my hair, and a kind of silence that felt like home. I wasn’t chasing anything. I wasn’t proving anything. I was just… me. Free. 🌤️

I wandered, I listened. To the crashing waves, the laughter in the streets, the echo of my own thoughts in the cliffs of Yarada. I chased sunsets, not timelines. I tasted street food like it was a love language. I lived slowly, deeply.

And somewhere between the chaos of Jagadamba, the calm of Beach Road, and the stories told by the sea, I left behind my stress and took back something softer.

Visakhapatnam wasn’t loud about its magic—but it healed in whispers.

This small village is situated at a height of 3636 mtrs above sea level , the highest point in West Bengal, is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of the world's highest peaks, including Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga (known as the "Sleeping Buddha"), Lhotse, and Makalu.

You can reach by land rover or by trek.

Nepal and India both currency are accepted here as it's near border of Nepal and India .
