"Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast?"

In this verse we can read that people in the temple were seeking Jesus – wondering if He would come to the feast. On the one hand, it was required by law that all males should come. On the other hand, His coming was attended with great danger. This was the cause of their doubting. It was in this situation that our Savior was called to act. Likewise many of His followers. Danger was on one hand and duty on the other. Though He knew the consequence, He fulfilled His duty. This shows us the importance of doing our duties, even in the face of adversity. Rest in the assurance that when we – like Jesus did – place the situation before us in God's hands without shrinking, that we will come out of it unharmed...

**Update** from my sister in law... He is off the ventilator and awake and appears to recognize family members. Although it's a long road ahead, we got a CHRISTMAS MIRACLE ✝️ we thank everyone for their continuous prayers. We still don't know the extent of his injuries, only time will tell. For now, I'm just praising God with every breath. Please say a prayer for our family! We have a family member in the hospital on a ventilator.

In this verse, the LORD our God describes Israel's ignorance and vulnerability due to her pride. She, Israel, has become like a senseless dove, flitting back and forth between trusting in Assyria and Egypt, rather than turning to God and trusting in Him.
This verse emphasizes the importance of not being prideful, but ever trusting of what God can do. For with God all things are possible. And because actions have consequences, these will be catched as flock by the net God threw over them. So be aware of your actions, as they determine the course of your day. God meets good with good when He sees the kind of good in us that He asks from us...

Since we wrestle not against flesh & blood but against powers & principalities, we must fight the good fight of faith and let no sin reign in our mortal bodies. Thus we must watch the words we speak, so we don't succumb to the lusts of our bodies by our words.
Use the gifts of the LORD wisely for His purpose & let Him purify you every day.

When I was praying today to God on what Bibleverses I should study and make an image with, His Spirit gave me the instruction "6:12". This I had to look up as Bibleverse. When I typed it in the search engine, I heard "Well done. I will point out what to choose per nudge." I stopped collecting, when told so. Afterwards, His Spirit said: "now 12:6"; again all went through nudge & stop...
