Laes vid: reminded me how much I miss LaEs gen 1 but I still like LaEs gen 2 tho.

And this video was 100% a "guys stop hating on the Astrals for doing their job bro. We decided to explain the Astrals and their reasonings again through the characters" video /silly but yeah- uh some people might recognise what earth and Cosmo was saying since I SAY IT ALL THE GOSH DARN TIME.

One thing that annoyed me was that fact both moon and Cosmo didn't acknowledge what Solar said to Cosmo and DID to Cosmo! Like What the heck?? I'm glad they're acknowledging Cosmo things that he did but COME ON! Solar has literally been so rude to Cosmo the entire time but when Cosmo finally reacts to the behaviour and that's the only thing called out?

Also- day one of missing the star sillies 💔💔

Idk if this is a hot take but: I don't think it's fair on Cosmo with what's happening and what he's doing.

Cosmo FINALLY has his life somewhat together. He's got a job,has friends,has a partner,a mentor etc.. and more important he has a purpose, the thing he always wanted.

And now that all might get taken away all for this one thing. So..yeah I stand by my statement.

[Ramble/Rant post]
This episode really reminded me why I sometimes feel weird about how the family treats Cosmo. (Spoilers for the newest ep)

- Let me start by saying this: what Cosmo said was wrong. I’m not defending his words, I just wanted to point some annoying things out that happened in this ep.

For example, are we seriously not going to acknowledge how Solar was clearly provoking him beforehand? The little mumbled comments, the jabs. They clearly wasn’t subtle. But when Cosmo reacted, suddenly only his response is called out by the family? I’m sorry, what? That just doesn’t sit right with me.

I get that Solar is going through a rough time. I really do. But that doesn’t give him a free pass to be a jerk to Cosmo without any consequences. Again, I’m not saying Cosmo was in the right, but it’s frustrating to see the family ignore what led up to his outburst. They completely overlooked the buildup and only focused on the explosion between the two. And MAINLY focused on Cosmo!

- And then there’s Sun- Oh boy....The way he spoke to Cosmo honestly rubbed me the wrong way. It felt cold and dismissive, like he didn’t care about Cosmo’s side at all. He just told him get out after the outburst, no acknowledgment of what Cosmo might’ve been feeling or how Solar’s comments could’ve pushed him there. It’s great that he showed care for Terra and Dazzle, but when it came to Cosmo? I didn't really see it. Even when Cosmo apologized and tried to explain himself, it felt like sun wasn't really listening.

(And can I just say JACK. why the heck was the CHILD the most reasonable one there? The CHILD! You know you've gone wrong if a child has better awareness and understanding than ADULTS)

- And before anyone goes at me. I like Solar, this isn't a hate rant. He’s one of my favorite characters (check my description if you don’t believe me lmao). But liking a character doesn’t mean I’m going to ignore when they mess up. I get where Solar’s coming from emotionally, but that doesn’t excuse his behaviour at ALL.

What REALLY annoyed me, was how Solar basically told Cosmo that he was the reason Molten died and the family said nothing. Not a single word. But then when Cosmo snapped and implied that it was him being alive was the cause of all the stuff going that’s when everyone jumped in to shut him down? I’m sorry, but both of those statements were equally awful. Why is Cosmo the only one being "called out"?

- It’s this kind of treatment that really frustrates me. Cosmo constantly feels like an outsider in his OWN family. They barely reach out to him unless they need something, even though he has a high-risk job and maybe one day he might not even return back home one day. And yet, he’s kept in the dark about basic things, like Ruin and Tiger Rock moving in next door to Sun and Moon? That seems like the kind of info you’d share with a sibling. So yeah, I was glad Monty pointed it out and I hope they improve on the communication.

Speaking from experience actually, I’ve an older sibling away at university. And I still make sure they know what's going on with the family. Not every little detail, but the important stuff? Yeah I do. So the fact that Cosmo is left out of even that kind of communication is just… weird and honestly a little sad.

I know this probably sounds like a "stupid rant", but it’s just hard to watch the way Cosmo gets sidelined or scolded without anyone actually listening to him unless it's "important". Yeah his finally does SOMETIMES listen to him.

It's really a shame what Solar and cosmos dynamic has changed to, I used to love their dynamic in the past. It was so sweet and silly

‼️Spoiler warning for the newest LaEs vid!‼️ I'm so happy to see the Astrals again and specifically I'm so happy to see Castor!!! :D

Seriously, I’ve missed them so much. We even got a few new pieces of Astral lore in this video too!! I’m not gonna recap the whole thing (sorry :,)), just gonna ramble about the Astral-related stuff and maybe some of the silly moments ^^

1. During 7 mins in the video (before lunar came), right before Lunar shows up, Cosmo asks which Dark Star entity was detected. Castor states it's one he hasn't met yet.

Cosmo guessed if it was decay and Taurus states Cosmo was not "ready" for them, so this new entity Decay is stronger than Kerian or Noctyra as the Astrals seem to think Cosmo can handle the other two.

The word Decay obv means a transitional state of decline of either:
1. Biological (break down of plants and animals)
2. Physical (the deterioration of materials like wood or metal)
3. Emotionally/social= the decline of relationships or a persons well-being)
(Also there's a mathematical meaning but yk- probably not needed for this-)

I'm guessing Decay (but also most 100%) they have powers/abilities to cause things to wither and break down more quickly. Maybe they can feed off this process too, like absorbing energy from whatever’s being broken down? That’s just a theory, but it fits to me.

2.(1/2) Near 15:00 they were talking about the dangers of using the star. And an example they used of "irrational acts" is: "like bringing back dead planets and the people on them" by Cosmo.

Lunar mentioned that the specific example seemed to sound "a little too close to home", so even him sensed that the example was sorta specific. Taurus coldly replied to not speak any further of it.

The way he said it and replied to the situation comment kinda speaks volume that it is a touchy subject for Taurus. Which is why I believe that the example was related to Cetus!

2.(2/2) We know Cetus and the Dark Star entities basically exist to spread suffering, chaos, and anti-positive energy throughout the universe. The other entities powers are:

1.Kerian= mess with a victims mind and make them go insane
2.Noctyra= the power to cause mass destruction and "transform things" I think?
3.Rez= spreads infections and viruses of anti-matter/dark star power and turn them to either minions or wild entities
4.Decay= (presumably) has powers/abilities to cause things to wither and break down more quickly

So..what about Cetus? The strongest one of them all? Well it wouldn't be surprising if Cetus has powers that are far stronger than the rest, and I believe it's to bring things back from the dead and corrupt things in some sort of way. I don't mix this up with Rez powers. Cetus MADE Rez if I remember correctly, so he has a spec of Cetus powers.I actually headcannon that for a WHILE and I think it may be true now.

My hc was that: Cetus used to have the abilities to "give life" or able to "create life" with some limitations in some way. It'd make sense why the Astrals would want to train him and find him if he had those powers (remember, Cetus wasn't born an astral. He was like Cosmo). But as he turned evil his power also got corrupted too. He still "gives life" but in a way he shouldn't. Being able to corrupt things when he "brought them back" and also steal life from already living things. Creating things he shouldn't, like withers.

And lunar in response called him a furry. And about him having kids, which Cosmo then replied he can't have kids so- 🧍

Their interactions were so funny and chaotic, I already missed them but now I MISSED THEM MOREEE

COSMOS AND CASTORS BANTER AND CASTORS SASS IS SO FUNNY LMAOO. like I swear castor like hit a jab at Cosmo any chance he got.

Also Taurus scolding cosmo too lmaoo it's so silly! Even just the small detail of Taurus making castor do the talking and explain to lunar and castor sighing and reluctantly did it OH OH AND THE BIT NEAR THE END WAS SO SILLYFUL, I MISSED THESE SIMPLE INTERACTS SMMM 💔💔
