Thought provoking Thursday 💭
There are moments in our lives where we are put to the test. As we grow spiritually, we will go through situations, have obstacles thrown in front of us and hurdles to jump in order to test our endurance and perseverance.
Then there are moments where the enemy wants to “sift you as wheat” (Luke 22:31-32) and you gotta stand on business (your faith), for through the sifting, you will be rewarded.
Satan has been nipping at my heels for the last two and a half weeks… lurking, trying me 😂 and I’ve learned to run to and rely on The Word to keep me grounded and focused on my assignment… try as he may… he do be using many things at his disposal. But they’re not NEW things. REMEMBER THAT!
So if you’re being tested, if the enemy’s trying you, try running to God instead of running into Satan’s trap.

I’ve been spending some time in the book of Proverbs… reading… meditating… finding comfort in The Word, in the moments I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders.
I don’t like speaking on spiritual attacks… mainly because it can be overused. But nonetheless that’s been my experience lately 🥴 This is why I encourage you to read your bible and pray for wisdom and discernment daily. Doing this will help you navigate the path without being overwhelmed.
With that said, Proverbs 16:4 has been my anchor for the week. It has allowed me to focus on what’s important and less on what’s happening. When you know that you’re fearfully and wonderfully made, it’s no surprise that the enemy is shook 😂… that’s why he’s always trying to set up traps 🪤. And he does it when you’re not paying attention and when you’re most vulnerable. STAY ALERT 🚨

We are stewards of the world. Paul said “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:17 NIV
How these verses connect? The blessings we are given are meant to reflect back to our Creator. He blesses us because He loves us. We demonstrate our gratitude by using those same blessings to exalt Him. When we recognize that everything we have is a privilege (and not a right), our attitudes will change. 🙏🏾💖 #WordofGod
