Sophie Hanson
Sophie Hanson is a Swedish country-pop artist born and raised in the small town of Eskilstuna.
With a musical upbringing shaped by legends like Johnny Cash, Aretha Franklin, and Led Zeppelin she’s carved out a sound all her own, a soulful blend of classic grit and modern edge!
Her breakout single “Brother” won “Original Song of the Year” at the Texas Sounds CMA in the U.S. in 2022 and in 2023 she returned with another nomination this time also earning her first Josie Music Awards nod in Nashville as “Female Vocalist of the Year in Modern Country” at the iconic Grand Ole Opry.
In March 2024, Sophie played her first headline show in Sweden, selling out the renowned Lokomotivet venue in her hometown.
Just months later she opened for U.S. country star Dasha at Nalen in Stockholm.
In 2025, Sophie joins and opening for Chris Kläfford on “The Long Way Tour” while also releasing her bold new single “Country Kinda Vibe” a tribute to her roots and her refusal to fit the mold.
