Evening with Evaluators – A Meaningful Gathering!

As part of our ongoing journey to strengthen evaluation practice in Sri Lanka, the Institute for Participatory Interaction in Development, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Evaluation Association (SLEvA), the Center for Evaluation, and EvalYouth Sri Lanka, was delighted to host an insightful session titled “Evening with Evaluators.”

The event featured a Diagnostic Clinic by Dr. Dorothy Lucks, a credentialed evaluator with a PhD in Sustainable Development. Her session provided valuable perspectives on strengthening evaluation practice and navigating real-world challenges in the field.

The gathering brought together evaluators, development practitioners, and professionals for a lively exchange of ideas, experiences, and learning. Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with Dr. Lucks, share their perspectives, and deepen their understanding of evaluation in practice.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who joined us at Ramada by Wyndham Colombo and contributed to making the evening both productive and inspiring.

This event reflects the strong collaboration among our partner organizations and our shared commitment to fostering learning, dialogue, and growth within Sri Lanka’s evaluation community.

We look forward to creating more opportunities for knowledge-sharing and strengthening the evaluation ecosystem in the months ahead.
