3rd game beaten this year is Tales of Xillia and boy did I not like it. It went from being a generic and just okay entry to probably my least liked Tales game in the whole franchise. What a mess.

Completed 55 games in 2022, though most of those I'd started well before that and just happened to finish them then. Gonna try to continue my efforts to actually beat games and focus on them one at a time. Currently about 60-70% of the way through my Cyberpunk 1.6 Corpo run.

Going through all of my older playlists and marking them as either Complete or Canceled. Canceled means I will either not be going back to the game or, if I do, will be starting over.

I had to close some of these out for my own OCD as I try to deal with having too many games on the go at once which often leaves me trying to decide what to play for longer than I actually play stuff.

I'm finished with SRW30. For the second time, Steam ate all of my save files, this time going back all the way to January.

I was playing when I noticed I'd not encountered any of the new units from the expansion pass despite buying it, and someone advised that I should verify the game on Steam. I did so, and it ate about 150 stages worth of progress. I doubt I'll ever play the game again, and going forward will not be playing any SRW titles on PC until their "final release". The whole DLC over time thing to get a complete story is stupid, anyway.

I'd recorded up to about halfway through the Extra Chapter and will still be uploading it because of the monumental time investment, but unless someone can come through with a miracle I will not be finishing it.

Because I decided to focus on actually finishing games this year, I'm gonna pause the Az run (about 82 stages in) and just focus on finishing with Edge and the true ending. I'm sure I'll come back for the other run and 'normal' route with Az eventually, it's just a bit daunting with how many stages there are to do it twice at the same time.

I somehow lost basically all of my progress in SRW30 due to my saves vanishing. I'm pretty mad. I'll be restarting with an Edge and Az run, just one each this time to better manage all the stages. Sorry for the videos being removed.

I'm finally, hopefully getting a new gaming PC. The streaming service I've used (Shadow) has gone down the tubes and has resulted in a lot of bad quality recordings recently. Until the new PC shows up I'm sticking to just uploading SRW30 videos and anything I had queued up before now. Apologies if some of them have stuttering, as I hadn't noticed til I'd already uploaded and few of them.

I am playing through SRW 30 and apparently in the minority for thinking it feels cheap and mediocre. I long for the return of something as high quality and epic as Alpha 3, Z1 and Z2, OGG, OGs2. Call me a cranky old man but everything post OGs2 has felt like a cash grab in comparison.

V was okay if only because the setting was interesting and the originals had a cool mech, X was mostly a slog that I barely remember, T is just sort of.. there and the original mech is more bland than unbuttered white bread. 30 has a bizarre "callback" mission structure where you can be locked out of stages entirely for grinding too much, the animations feel cheap or lifted straight from DD and the art style is inching ever closer to turning the game into a non-Gundam exclusive G Generation title with the 3D thinly disguised as 2D. Everything about Majestic Prince is laughable.

I would gladly wait 4-5 years between entries if we could get a polished product that actually makes a noticeable upgrade to what we have now. But maybe that's just me.

Finished Mass Effect Andromeda today. It was bad, but I was determined. I legit don't get the defenders of this game, let alone the ones who say it's better than any of the original trilogy.
