EN: Soon, Lyric Poupette Production will have the deep honor of bringing light back to a young roots reggae legend whose voice still deserves to be heard, remembered and loved.

Hugh Mundell was only a teenager when he began carrying a message far bigger than his years.
A voice young in age, but already filled with Africa, freedom, prophecy and roots consciousness.

Known forever through the powerful spirit of Africa Must Be Free by 1983, and deeply connected to the mystical world of Augustus Pablo, Hugh Mundell left behind a legacy that still feels sacred, fragile and immense.

He was only 21 years old when his journey was cut short.
But a song can survive what the world tries to erase.
A voice can keep breathing through memory.
And sometimes, a forgotten name only waits for the right vibration to rise again.

This tribute was created as a tribute-resurrection
Not only to mourn him
But to bring his name back into the light
To honor the young prophet of roots
And to remind the world that Hugh Mundell still matters

Hugh Mundell was assassinated in 1983, at the age of 21. After his death, several albums were made posthumously.
His death is in addition to the singer Prince Far I also killed a few weeks earlier and many deaths of engaged singer will be added in this decade 80 with that of Carlton Barrett then Peter Tosh and finally King Tubby killed in a burglary which went wrong on February 6, 1989.
