Why Tokyo Marui mws is never making v2 and still version 1 since 2014 until today?

The Tokyo Marui (TM) MWS GBBR has never received an official "V2" release from Tokyo Marui because the original design (ZET System) is considered to be near-perfect out of the box in terms of reliability, gas efficiency, and cold-weather performance.

Instead of a new version, TM has continued to rely on the proven, original design while the aftermarket industry (GunsModify, AngryGun, etc.) handles upgrades.

Why There Is No Official TM MWS V2:

The ZET System is Robust: The original ZET System was designed to prevent bolt wear and nozzle breakage, making it extremely reliable out of the box.

Performance Over Realism: TM prioritizes performance, reliability, and low-temperature operation over strict "real steel" specifications.

Aftermarket Support: The MWS platform has massive third-party support. Companies like GunsModify already produce "V2" style, upgraded parts (such as improved nozzle sets, bolt carriers, and trigger boxes) that fix common issues like nozzle breakage.

Market Strategy: Tokyo Marui often releases new variants (like the AKX or different M4 models) based on the same proven internal system rather than changing the system itself.

Common "Fixes" Misinterpreted as V2:

While TM hasn't released a V2, parts manufacturers like GunsModify have released their own "EVO V2" bolt carriers and nozzles that address issues with the stock design, such as improving loading angles and enhancing nozzle durability.

If you are experiencing issues, the common, unofficial "upgrades" often referred to as fixing the MWS include replacing the nozzle return spring, installing a stronger nozzle, or upgrading the trigger box for better performance.
