This song and story were inspired by one of the most remarkable moments in anti-colonial resistance:
The Battle of Isandlwana (1879) — when the Zulu Kingdom, armed with nothing but spears and discipline, dealt a crushing defeat to the mighty British Empire.
The British came seeking gold, land, and power, labeling the Zulu as “savages” to justify their conquest.
But the Zulu warriors, proud and united, rose to defend their homeland — much like the Valari of Velurith do in this story.
🎵 “The Cry of Velurith: Predators Rise Like Fire in the Storm” is not just sci-fi — it’s a tribute to all who have defended their home against invaders, even when the odds were against them.
