Does Youtube ever stop feeling utterly random when it comes to video performance or is it a me thing?

Genuine query mostly because I am baffled by the AC black flag video dying a death, but also how much of a yoyo videos performance seems to be, wondering is it my videos at fault or something more complex

OH GOD DAMN

The channel went over 5k subscribers feels like only a few months ago I was all excited about hitting 900 subscribers with the Kingdcom Come 2 video and here we are now over 5k.

New video this week is a smidge delayed but I am deep diving why Kingdom Come Deliverance ( the first one) was so good despite its many MANY flaws.

No video next week as I am off to GDC in San Fran but there will be one live next Monday on Resident Evil 2 - yes I just finished re9 and did the obvious thing which is make a video about resident evil 2 ( the 10/10 remake anyway)

However while I am away I will be brainstorming ideas for new videos and thought I’d ask you yes you the subs if this channel what your opinions are on what I should do next !

Happy New Year !!!

Hope you all had a great night and aren’t too hungover, suffice to say I learnt a valuable YouTube lesson over Xmas and new years - never eve post videos over Xmas and new years.

You would think that’s obvious but apparently not !

Wow over 2k subs just happened and less than a month ago YouTube told me I’d hit 1000 and was officially a YouTube partner.
