Bucharest-based DJ and producer Sorin Ionita aka Metafore is one of the artists from Zebra Rec agency and the founder of the Louderground Musique label.

During the summer season for the last 8 years, until two years ago, he was resident at Molotov Vama Veche, where he invited various artists to perform and delight the people through his and their music.

Aside from these adventures by the sea, he performed in many local and abroad venues alongside artists like Sepp, Charlie, Lizz, Macarie, Crihan, Radu Mirica, Primarie, Los Bastoneros, Core, Vern, Mihai Pol and many others. Trained in piano and visual arts, Metafore sure delivers the vibes wherever he performs.

When it comes to production, he takes his time in the studio, crafting his own sounds with great care and attention to detail since 2016. Aside from the independent releases, some of his works have been published by labels like Zebra rec, Podvodo, Stamp, Vivus, Dinsubsol, Tzinah and Ensis Black.

Metafore delivers a new sound in his repertoir with this three-track EP, taking us on a groovy sound journey, based on house and minimal elements. The acid complementary layers and carefully sculpted synth work, creates engaging punchy sounds, makeing it an ideal tool for peak time moments in any set.
