Thank you for joining The Johnson Family channel and becoming our virtual family! On our channel, daddy Rome, mom Falesha, our beautiful daughter, Caliyah Joy and the youngest, Romen. Cali was born with a rare disorder called Pfeiffer Syndrome, which has turned us into medical parents. My goal is to spread awareness of her syndrome and shed light on how she can do all things despite her disability.

Life update for my members
1. Cali broke her arm falling off a spiny chair at the playground at her school. She has the long arm cast and not loving but back to her happy self.
2. I took Cali on mommy - daughter date to a college gymnastics meet and we saw Jordan Chiles perform. She loved it
3. We did a family outing to a women’s basketball game where Rome and I got our master’s degree (Gonzaga)
4. Rome and I manage to sneak away for a staycation to downtown Seattle.
5. I took Romen on a mommy-son date to Monster Jam and he had so much fun! Already asking to go back 😂

Monday Mindful Moment: Last week was the first in a while that we saw Cali turn a corner after struggling with rhinovirus. We got a smile and endless giggles. Thankful to hear her sweet voice & see this big smile.

One of the things we struggle with when Cali gets sick is because she's nonverbal and we can't pinpoint it right when the symptoms are creeping up. So you learn to be observant, pay attention to little and big changes in behavior and medical needs.
