The Story Behind “Sickfishsticks”

I chose the name after a food poisoning incident that should’ve killed me.

I was broke, hungry, and found a half-eaten box of fish sticks behind a gas station freezer.

No label. No brand. Just "Property of Neptune" scribbled on the side. I cooked them anyway. Big mistake.

Thirty minutes later I was seeing colors that don’t exist and arguing with a hallucinated sea captain who kept yelling, “THE STICKS ARE CURSED!”

I survived. Barely. But ever since, I’ve had nightmares of deep-sea breadcrumbs and echoing microwave beeps.

Now I go by Sickfishsticks — to honor the moment I became... different.

And I haven’t trusted seafood since.
