We're coming up on the annual Medical Coder Challenge for 2026. Starting this Oct 1, 2025 the challenge is to read the ICD-10-CM Coding guidelines, either the 2025 or 2026 version (depending on where you are in your journey, read the guidelines accordingly- If you're a coder, then you read the 2026 version, if you're a student taking your exam this year in 2025 - read the 2025 guidelines, if you're taking a test with AHIMA up till the end of April 2026 you'll need to read the 2025 guidelines).
You can Google or see my previous post on where to find the guidelines for free.
I can't wait! I am participating too. Read those guidelines! You'll find yourself more competent and your coding more accurate doing this simple action!

The syllabus is NOT the same thing as a study tracker. The study tracker is a worksheet that helps you track your time that you are studying. I have demonstrated this previously.
The syllabus is a breakdown of all the subjects to study for medical coding. I am still working on it and I will let everyone know when it is ready. it is not ready yet.

I just want to clear up some confusion about the clips I've uploaded this week. These are old videos that I'm resharing during my hiatus (that is still going on right now - but I don't want you to forget about me so I'm sharing the oldies but goodies). I'll be back to regular schedule Aug 4th. Till then please enjoy the clips.
To get to the full length video in the first 5 seconds or so, a little box pops up on the upper right hand corner, see the picture below, you click on it and it'll bring up the thumbnail for the full length video. Why it doesn't just go to the video, I don't know. If you click on the thumbnail, it'll take you to the video. Its very easy. That's how you get to the full length video. This is true if you're watching on your phone or laptop or desktop or tablet.
