This is one in the eye of all the racist xenophobes who were jumping to vile, bigoted conclusions in comments across social media before identities were released. I'd be stunned if such people will comment with apologies or admitting they were wrong. They'll probably remain silent, seething behind their screens.

Gonna have a go at rebuilding youeeus.org for an hour or two to get it ready for the #ableism special I want to make, but it depends on how my neck copes with being upright. I have 16 domains to publish that special across if I choose to keep them all. I might dump some of them, though. I really hope my #EhlersDanlos body will let me do what I want to do.

I might alter the #YouSeeUs logo at the top slightly. I made it years ago before emojis and hashtags became big things, based on me predicting they WOULD become big things.

My GP surgery is acting illegally by choosing to not fix these doors. Under the #EqualityAct 2010, they are legally obliged to provide access for #wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.

I asked to meet with the Practice Manager to discuss this and errors in my medical records.

I was told "It will be a phone call, if anything," to which I replied, "No. I want a face-to-face meeting," and informed reception staff I have reported one of the doctors (and practice partners) to the #GMC.

The Practice Manager has (so far) chosen to not contact me.

If he doesn't get in touch, I will be taking this illegality and the other issues further.

I've spent time collecting examples of #ableism across numerous sectors of society to use in an editorial special that will run across numerous websites that have a readership of tens of thousands of people.

The charity sector in #AbleistBritain is particularly bad when it comes to them posting ableist marketing campaigns.

I ask such charities why they choose to produce ableist marketing campaigns, and I've had a good response from some of them, including some choosing to change their ads so they do not feature ableist linguistics and they do include wheelchair users.

I also have collected examples of comments from people who don't like me asking questions. Such comments will be featured on the websites in the special.

Because such comments are in the public domain, identities will not be hidden.

Here is an example (from Insta) of an ableist who feels that ableism is acceptable and challenging it is 'clownism'.

Studies DO link bigotry - like ableism (and racism) - to lower levels of intelligence.

This poor little fella obviously was triggered by me challenging ableism.

Two things you cannot debate with - dumb and discriminatory.

The two go hand in hand.

I'm grateful to him for giving me another example of #ableist thinking to feature in the special.

Some information for the gullible, antisemitic idiots still chanting 'October 7th' as they attempt to excuse a genocide:

•Time did not begin on October 7th. There are nearly 80 years of vile Israeli action towards Palestinians before that. Your denial of time does not mean it does not exist.

•A year or more ago, Ha'aretz ran a story about an Israeli woman with an agency allowing Israelis to reserve and buy plots of land in Gaza upon which to build and live.

If you swallowed the nonsense that the destruction of Gaza is Israel defending itself, you need to open your eyes and exit your state of denial.

•Antisemitism applies to Palestinians who are semitic.

Jews outside of Israel are not semitic, thus antisemitism cannot apply to them. Israel was formed by Eastern Europeans shipped out to build it. Eastern Europeans are not semitic. Descendants of Eastern Europeans are not semitic. Thus antisemitism cannot apply to them.

A pro-Israel narrative has programmed us to believe antisemitism applies only to Israelis and Jews.

•Israelis are increasing their illegal occupations in the West Bank, stealing and moving into Palestinian homes.

•In committing genocide, increasing illegal occupations, bombing eight countries without provocation and breaking international law by bombing a nuclear facility (that is regularly inspected, unhindered, by the UN), Israel is a terr•rist state.

•If another country came into your country, rounded everyone up, pushed them into a tiny territory and controlled everyone and everything entering and leaving that territory, you would have your own version of H@mas and would fight back.

•There is an international arrest warrant with Netwatyahu's name on it. That warrant needs to be facilitated. World 'leaders' and the UN need to facilitate that arrest, not aid him in remaining free.

Any #EhlersDanlos bodies out there dealing with #NHSWales? Just had yet another awful and ethically and legally dubious experience at one of the biggest hospitals in #Wales.

It would be great to hear from any other #Welsh Bendies who have had bad experiences with trying to get treatment - especially emergency care.

If NHS Wales hasn't handled your EDS well or as they should have and you're up for sharing your thoughts about it, drop a comment or get in touch privately:

I really expect nobody to read all this, as it's gonna get very long! Just posted this video about the comments on another video I posted. Then I DID respond to one comment...
😁🤷‍♀️

...When I've purposely NOT read them and have been relishing saving that read for part of a large project about #Ableism and #AbleistBritain, which will run across several websites.

I mustn't read any more just yet.
🤓😁

The comment I accidentally saw in YT Studio (and then replied to) says something incorrect about #voting, UK #pollingstations and #disabilities.

To make things clear to anyone who might make it to the end of this post, here's a quote from the UK's Electoral Commission:

'Local authorities have a duty to review the accessibility of all polling places to disabled voters and ensure that every polling place, and prospective polling place, for which it is responsible is accessible to disabled voters ‘so far as is reasonable and practicable’.

According to the Equalities and Human Rights Commission the duty to make reasonable adjustments comprises three requirements.

For service providers and those exercising public functions, these requirements are:

Where a provision, criterion or practice puts disabled people at a substantial disadvantage compared with those who are not disabled, to take reasonable steps to avoid that disadvantage.

Where a physical feature puts disabled people at a substantial disadvantage compared with people who are not disabled to avoid that disadvantage or adopt a reasonable alternative method of providing the service or exercising the function.

Where not providing an auxiliary aid, for example a ramp for wheelchair user1 , puts disabled people at a substantial disadvantage compared with people who are not disabled, to provide that auxiliary aid.

Access to the polling station is still a barrier to some disabled people who want to cast their vote in person. Some of the main physical access issues which should be considered as part of a review are:

polling places and stations with steps into the entrance, or otherwise inaccessible

narrow doorways and corridors

lack of space within the polling place that did not enable motorised wheelchair manoeuvrability

lack of space and secrecy for the elector and their companion to discuss the elector’s choice of vote

lack of low level polling booths or booths/tables that didn’t provide disabled voters with confidence that they could cast their vote in secrecy as they were positioned close to the polling station staff

a lack of chairs to enable people to rest

a lack of a clear display of guidance or aids (such as tactile voting devices) to enable people to feel confident about the process

inadequate lighting

The Elections Act 2022 provides a duty for ROs to provide each polling station with such equipment as it is reasonable to provide for the purposes of enabling, or making it easier for, relevant persons to vote independently and in secret2 . The review should therefore include consideration of whether the building can accommodate the equipment you will provide to support disabled voters.'

I started another new #editorial piece for youdontlookdisabled.com (18+ only), where I am free to express myself as I please. But, my pelvis has started screaming at me, so I have to get flat and stop writing #FML.

Frustrating, I really wanted to get it on site tonight.

My pelvis is my #master, though, and must be obeyed.

I'll just have to finish it another day.

Been #writing and planning more #editorial features for youdontlookdisabled.com today, and I found this image I made on my lovely desktop machine. I'm looking forward to getting some new #words up on site. I've got 13 pieces waiting to be birthed and go online - one of which will not go down well with a certain #EDS charity or two, but sometimes the #truth hurts...
