This channel explores how Japan is reported in English-language newspapers from around the world. Its goal is to help viewers improve their English while gaining a deeper understanding of Japan through authentic news articles. Launched in January 2025, the channel is also part of Michikazu Iseri's own lifelong learning journey.
★Michikazu Iseri
Based on his many years of experience as a reporter and editorial writer for the Kumamoto Daily News, where he frequently conducted interviews in English, he provides commentary on ’Japan Through the English-Language Press.’ He is also a former journalism professor at Kumamoto University. His book, 'Half a Century of Kumamoto Through the English-Language Press,' received the 2026 Kumamoto Daily News Publishing Culture Award and the Kumamoto Journalism Award.
