🇧🇷 1822 marcou o início de uma nova era para o povo brasileiro.
Foi o ano em que o Brasil rompeu os grilhões de uma ordem política que já não correspondia à vontade de um povo que começava a afirmar, com sangue e coragem, o seu próprio destino.
Houve conflito, discórdia, sangue!
Mas nada foi capaz de deter o vento da mudança que atravessou o Brasil e transformou para sempre a nossa história como nação.
Dom Pedro. Maria Leopoldina. José Bonifácio. Maria Quitéria. João das Botas. Maria Felipa. Joana Angélica.
E tantos outros cujos nomes jamais chegaram aos livros de História.
Todos aqueles que estiveram lá — homens e mulheres dispostos a enfrentar o perigo e, se necessário, entregar a própria vida por uma terra que desejavam livre.
Se hoje o Brasil repousa em seu berço esplêndido, é também porque homens e mulheres de diferentes origens tiveram a coragem de enfrentar lâminas, arcabuzes e interesses que não representavam a verdadeira vontade de um povo determinado a decidir o próprio futuro.
A liberdade nunca foi simplesmente concedida. Ela foi conquistada. Foi paga. Foi defendida.
E talvez seja justamente por isso que a Independência não deva ser lembrada apenas como uma data nos calendários, mas como parte da memória viva de um povo.
