Let’s bake DaRecipeQueen’s Lemon Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients
500g of Flour
500g unsalted butter
500g granulated sugar
500g of Eggs (7 or 8)
2 teaspoons of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of Lemon Flavour Extract
3 tablespoons of Lemon Zest
½ cup of Liquid Milk

Procedure
- Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl and set aside
- Wash 2 lemons and grate out the lemon zest
- Cream butter, sugar, salt, lemon Flavour until very pale and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time till all enters
- Add the sifted dry ingredients gently into the wet mix.
- Lastly, Add the lemon zest and milk and mix thoroughly -Pour batter into pan and level the top.
-Bake until it’s firm to touch

Let’s Bake DaRecipeQueen’s Christmas Red Velvet Cake Recipe

Ingredients
375g of Flour
200g of Sugar
1 cup of Melted @taroonamargarine
½ cup of Buttermilk
5 Eggs
½ tablespoon of Baking powder
½ teaspoon of Baking soda
1 tablespoon of Excellent Blend Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Flavour Extract
½ tablespoon of Excellent blend Red food Colour powder
½ teaspoon of Salt

Procedure
- Form your buttermilk ( ½ cup of milk + ½ tablespoon of White Vinegar) ... Then set aside
- Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, red food Colour powder , salt and set aside
- In a Clean mixing bowl, put the Melted Margarine , sugar and flavour....then mix all together till it blends, the mixture must not be fluffy because oil is there
- Then add eggs gradually till all enters
- Afterwards, reduce mixer speed, then pour in the flour mixture( that’s the dry ingredients) and buttermilk alternately batch by batch till all enters
- Then scrape sides of mixer bowl, mix well
- Then the cake batter will be ready
- Then pour in the cake batter into prepared pan or pans and bake till its firm to touch

Please note you can use 120 or 150 degrees ° C for baking)
This cake doesn’t need high heat...the heat must be moderately medium..

200g of heavy or dark brown sugar
200g of @taroonamargarine
3 tablespoons of Vegetable oil
4 large eggs
Half cup of Hollandia UHT milk
1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 tablespoons of golden syrup
1 tablespoon of black treacle

Procedure
-Sift flour, baking powder into a bowl and set aside
- Cream margarine, vegetable oil ,brown sugar, golden syrup,black treacle till it’s light and fluffy
-Add eggs into the wet mixture
- Mix in dry ingredients, milk and grated ginger till the cake batter is well blended
- Afterwards, pour cake batter in prepared pan and bake with low heat till it’s firm to touch

Ingredients
250g of Flour
250g of @taroonamargarine
250g of brown sugar
250g of Eggs
300g of Excellent Blend dried mixed fruits (soaked in 1 cup of rum or brandy)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of Excellent blend mixed spices
½ teaspoon of grated nutmeg
1 tablespoon of orange zest
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of Excellent blend golden syrup
1 tablespoon of browning
Desired quantity of glacé cherries (optional)
Desired quantity of almond nuts( optional)

Procedure
- Sift flour, baking powder, nutmeg , mixed spices,into a bowl and set aside
- Cream margarine ,brown sugar and Flavour until light and fluffy
-Add eggs one at a time till all goes in
- Add the dry ingredients and gently fold in.
- Lastly fold in the soaked fruits and orange zest and add the golden syrup and browning .
- Stir or Mix till the fruit cake batter is well blended
- You can also add the glacé cherries and almond nuts too or use as toppings
-Pour into lined pan and bake till it’s firm to touch
-Then Cool completely before wrapping/ cutting or decorating

(For Soaking)
500g of mixed dried fruits or raisins
1 cup of orange juice or non-alcoholic red wine
2 tablespoons of orange zest
1 tablespoon of lemon zest
👉 Soak overnight or at least 4 hours before baking!

(For the Cake Batter)
250g of @taroonamargarine
250g of brown sugar
250g of eggs
250g of flour
1½ teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon of black treacle or dark molasses
1 teaspoon of vanilla flavour
1 teaspoon of almond flavour
½ cup of glacé cherries (optional)
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Very little Browning (optional)

Procedure
👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
1. Line the pan with parchment paper, including the base and sides and Preheat your oven
2. Sift the flour, baking powder powder, nutmeg, cinnamon into a bowl and set aside
3. Cream margarine ,brown sugar , flavour, black treacle/molasses until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs gradually one at a time
5. Afterwards Add the Dry Ingredients which is already sifted by folding in gently
6. Add soaked fruits and zest, grated ginger to the cake batter and stir gently
7 . Add the browning if need be
8. Pour batter into prepared pan, tap the pan
9. Then sprinkle the glacé cherries and the nuts on top with some dry raisins or mixed fruits
10. Bake for Atleast 45 minutes to 1 hour using 120°C.
Till the Cake is firm to touch and a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the cake.
11. Then Cool completely before wrapping or cutting

•200g of Toren Dark compound chocolate
•120g of @taroonamargarine
•200g of brown sugar
•100g of white granulated sugar
•125g or 1 cup of Flour
•1 teaspoon of chocolate flavour extract
•50g of cocoa powder
•½ teaspoon of salt
• Some chocolate chunks (optional)
-2 large eggs

Procedure
1. Melt the margarine and dark chocolate together using (double boiler or microwave), afterwards Cool slightly.
2. Stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until glossy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently.
4. Add the Flavour extract.
5. Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt together.
6. Combine the dry ingredients and wet mixture (do not overmix). At this stage, you can fold in some chocolate chocolate chunks but it’s optional
7. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
8. Sprinkle some chocolate chunks as toppings if desired.
9. Bake for 25–30 minutes using 180 degC. till the centre gets slightly soft and fudgy.
10. Cool completely before slicing or cutting into squares.

•75g of excellentblend cocoa powder
•2 teaspoons of baking powder
•1 teaspoon of baking soda
•½ tsp salt
•½ cup of vegetable oil
•1 Cup of warm liquid milk
•3 tablespoons of melted chocolate
•2 large eggs
•1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 100ml of hot water

Procedure:
1.Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, salt into a bowl and set aside
2.Melt little compound chocolate and measure out 3 tablespoons
3.In another bowl, mix warm liquid milk, brown sugar ,oil, eggs, melted chocolate and flavour
4.Combine both the wet mix and dry ingredients and mix gently.
5.Gently stir in hot water to loosen the Batter
6.Pour into prepared pan(s) and Bake until a skewer comes out clean.

• ½ cup of raisins (optional)
• 1 cup of melted @taroonamargarine
• 4 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon of butterscotch or caramel Flavour
• 500 g of grated carrots
• ½ cup of coconut flakes or desiccated coconut (optional)

Procedure
1. Sift your flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg in a bowl, set aside
2. Peel, wash and Grate your carrots
3. In another bowl, mix the melted margarine , salt, sugar, eggs, flavour till well blended
4. Combine both wet and dry mixes gently.
5. Fold in grated carrots ,raisins , coconut flakes or desiccated coconut and mix together
6. Pour batter into prepared pan(s).

Christmas Vanilla Cookies Recipe

This recipes yields at least 15-20 cookies or more depending on the size of your cookie cutter.

Ingredients
• 250g of @taroonamargarine
• 180g of icing sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 400g of flour
• ½ teaspoon of baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon of salt

Procedure
1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together and set aside
2. Cream margarine and icing sugar until pale in Colour and fluffy .
3. Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
4. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
5. Mix gently until a soft dough forms, then Wrap dough and chill for 20–30 minutes in your refrigerator
6. Roll out dough (5–6mm thickness).
7. Cut with Christmas tree cookie cutter.
8. Place on a lined baking tray, leaving space between cookiees
9. Then finally Bake for some minutes till the edges turn light golden brown..
Then afterwards, Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack.

DaRecipeQueen’s Christmas Baked Cheesecake Recipe

Pan Size
8-inch round springform pan

Biscuit Base
• 250g of digestive biscuits
• 120g of melted @taroonamargarine
• 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Procedure
1. Crush or blend the Digestive biscuits finely.
2. Mix with melted butter and brown sugar
3. Press firmly into the base of the pan.
4. Chill in the freezer for 20–30 minutes.

Cheesecake Filling Ingredients
• 600g of cream cheese (room temperature)
• 300g of icing sugar
• 250g of Eggs ( 3 or 4)
• 1 cup of heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt

The Baking Procedure:
1. Preheat your oven
2. Beat cream cheese until smooth
3. Add icing sugar and mix gently.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed.
5. Add the heavy cream, vanilla Flavour and salt
6. Mix until just combined.
7. Pour filling over chilled biscuit base.
8. Tap pan gently to remove air bubbles.

Baking Process
• Wrap the Springfoam pan with thick aluminum foil and Place pan in the oven to bake or use water bath baking method to bake it ( either way works ).
• Bake for one hour using 150degC or 300degF.
• Bake till the Centre jiggles slightly.

Cooling
1. Turn off oven and leave cheesecake inside for 30 minutes.
2. Remove and cool completely at room temperature.
3. Then you can spread your whipped cream frosting or sauce on top of the Cheesecake and Chill for at least 6 hours or overnight for best texture.

- When it comes out, you can garnish the top with some toppings like fresh strawberries or kiwi or maraschino cherries… then slice and serve!
