A few weeks ago, I published a tutorial as part of a Guinness World Record attempt, and many of you registered via the Microsoft AI Skills Fest to confirm your participation.

Microsoft has now officially announced that we have set a brand new WORLD RECORD! 🌟 Thank you to everyone who registered and watched the tutorial. Your support made this incredible achievement possible and you all contributed to this.

Even better, Microsoft will be sending out a new digital badge to everyone who registered, confirming your contribution to the world record. Look out for your badge on May 1st delivered to your e-mail inbox!

So, keep an eye out for your new World Record Digital Badge, and once again, thank you for helping to set this new record and it was great to have helped contribute to it.

See you in the next one!

If you were wondering where’s my latest tutorial this Monday, then don’t worry, I am putting the finishing touches to an awesome new tutorial , which has taken a lot of editing time than usual.

In the tutorial, I’ll be focusing on how to translate meetings and more in Microsoft Teams in real-time using the latest AI capabilities and demonstrating how language is no longer a barrier for communication.

I am hoping to have it released tomorrow (Tuesday 15th) at 5:30PM GMT, but don’t forget to hit the bell icon to be notified when I drop a new tutorial every week, or just pop back tomorrow to find out Teams is now truly multilingual!

With Microsoft turning 50 today, it made me think of my own personal journey with Microsoft Products, which will resonate with many of you, I am sure....

Back when I was seven years old, in 1992, I had my first experience of a Personal Computer. It was a computer wheeled into the Classroom, with Windows 3.1 and we had to use in pairs, for a maximum fifteen minute time slot to allow us all to experience it, as the computer was shared across the school. I remember my first screensaver being the 'Flying Windows' and then firing up an App named 'Paintbrush', now known as 'Paint' and creating my first ever digital image. This PC was a thing of wonder for me at the time.

Sadly, my parent's couldn't afford to buy to me and my sister a PC for years, and so I used Windows 95 PC's at school for my homework, but then my knowledge was limited to what Microsoft Encyclopedia could tell me about, unless I wanted to pull a book from the library shelf!

Moving forward, into the era of the Internet, I'd head into Internet Cafe's and fire up Windows 98, and open up Internet Explorer 4.0, and get billed by the minute, whilst I tried to find the latest cheat codes for my games at home, and then quickly close all the open App's before my twenty minutes credit ran out and the PC locked. I couldn't afford a drink, but being on the internet, felt magical.

Then it all changed for me, when I was about 14 years old, when my parents afforded to buy an Intel Pentium 3 Computer with Windows, and that was it. I plugged it into a 56k Modem, heard the dial tone and the chirps, and I was online, connected to a new world of information, where you could create anything you wanted, be anyone you wanted to be, and aspire to something greater.

Then as time went on, I remember building my own computer, installing Windows XP RC1, and being blown away by it, and finding bugs, sending bug reports (who knows if they ever helped!) and firing up MSN Messenger, Windows Media Player and Internet Explorer - not forgetting WinZIP too, but the cost of Microsoft Office was too high, so Microsoft WordPad would do!

So, Microsoft has been a constant in my own personal experiences of the years, watching and using the products have been a great experience, and now as we enter a new era of computing with AI, it's a world that's very different, and what my own children will experience, will be a world away from my own experiences.

Would I change my own experiences though? Absolutely not, it shaped me and the content that I share today - having a PC was a privilege and it still feels that way for me today.

So, Happy Birthday Microsoft and thank you to the teams of people, who made the products what they are today, and helped millions of people around the world, believe and achieve more.

Hey all,

Next week's tutorial will be a special one! As my new tutorial will be part of a global AI learning event next week, and I'll be sharing tips on how to craft better AI prompts for more effective outcomes.

This event is the Microsoft AI Skills Fest, and alongside my tutorial, you will also be able to explore various AI learning tracks all for free and help set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the most users taking an online AI lesson in 24 hours!

As an added bonus, if you also complete any training within the 24-hour kickoff period and you could earn a special world record holder badge if we break the record too!

I have a favour to ask.

Increasingly, I am finding so many negative comments on the videos I post every week, which I need to delete every day, and I will continue to do.

As you know, the videos I post are always designed to do one thing, which is to help each and every one of you. They take days and hours to create, and I spend so much energy trying to make them the best possible.

So, how can you help? If you find a video helps you on this channel, then please post in the video comments and share it with me. We can override this negativity with positivity and i'd love to see your positive comments on the videos.

I'll continue to post every week, and keep doing what we do, and I appreciate you all who take the time, to like and comment on the channel.

See you all on the next one.
