We travelled to Chipata, Zambia to meet an inspiring entrepreneur who returned from the diaspora to invest back home. 🇿🇲
He built Ku Hide Out Resort, a peaceful getaway just outside Chipata. During our visit he gave us a tour of the resort and even organised a great barbecue for us.
Stories like this show how the diaspora can help build businesses, create jobs, and grow tourism in Africa.

We visited Tazirwa Farms in Lunzu, Blantyre and learned how they are using permaculture principles to grow papaya and produce organic fertiliser for farmers across Malawi 🌱🇲🇼

We just witnessed a LIVE Tilapia harvest at Charity Farm in Chitedze, Lilongwe! 🐟🇲🇼
The farm owner is a retired civil servant who is now farming as a hobby — and the results are impressive.

This space is designed specially for brides and bridegrooms to prepare the night before their wedding 💍 — and it also operates as a lodge (Monday–Thursday) with a restaurant on site.
It’s elegant. It’s peaceful. It’s proudly Malawian.
