The event brought together farmers, agribusiness enthusiasts, and visitors who toured the apple orchards, experienced the harvesting process, and learned about Wambugu apples—a climate-resilient apple variety well suited to African conditions. Discussions focused on sustainable farming, value addition, food security, and agritourism.
Charuta Farm continues to inspire local farmers by proving that fruit farming can be both profitable and sustainable. The festival was a powerful reminder of how innovation, dedication, and good farm management can transform agriculture and rural livelihoods.
