22-11-2025: Attended Sindh Pharmacy Curriculum Summit 2025 at Pharmacy Department Autitorium Karachi University as guest of hounor invited by Dr. Adnan Rizvi President PPA Sindh. " Navigating change and enabling the implementation " In the summit a good discussion and debate on changes in curriculum of Pharmacy syllabus for 2026. The academia and professionals of industry, policy makers and stakeholders took part in a fruitful discussion to come on suitable solutions. Some recommendations and suggestions were made for the forum to implement. The acting VC of KU , Dean of Faculties, Professors, Head of departments, PPA Sindh members and pharma industry leaders were also present at the summit. 14-11-2025: Meethi Zindagi: At the occasion of World Diabetes Day. I talked about awareness of T1DM and T2DM as key note speaker at Soorty enterprises Pvt.Ltd Karachi. A large number of Executives, departmental heads and supervisors attended the seminar. Very interactive session and in the end the management presented momento and gift hamper to speaker. Thanks to the Soorty CSR department and Meethi Zindagi for arranging this Diabetes Awareness Seminar. Some pics of the seminar.
06-11-2025: Meethi Zindagi: Attended as speaker in a seminar of awareness Type1 Diabetes in colloboration with Meethi Zindagi and PharmEvo organised by Depatment of Biotecnology Federal Urdu University. Karachi. Thanks to Dr.Sidra Shaheen and her team members for organizing such a nice and organized programme. In the end the University Registerar distributed the participation certificates and momentos to speakers. Some pics of seminar.
16-10-2025: Today a session conducted on Stress management and Burn out at Salim Habib University with the colloboration of Pakistan Health Parliament Karachi Chapter. Seminar was well attended and interactive. Respected Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Irfan Hyder , Dr.Muhammad Hussain Habib - Registrar , Prof.Dr.Noor Kamil -Dean faculty of Pharmacy , Ms.Saba Razzak and Dr.Masood Akhter were also attended the seminar and grace the occasion. Dr.Aftab Khan talk about how we can come out from burnout? and Mr. Yogi Wajahat explained the Yoga techniques for stress management. Thanks for the management and organisers of SHU. In the end the gift hampers and momentos were awarded to participants.
29-09-2025: Meethi Zindagi(MZ)- Conducted an awareness session on Type1 Diabetes at JAZZ Head office Dolman Mall Clifton Karachi. A large number of employees benefited by this session and I answered their queries on the spot and explained the Mission, Vision of Meethi Zindagi. MZ served free insulin to Type 1 DM at Punjab flood areas. Some pics of session as below.
13-08-2025: It was an honor to attend a training session on *Ergonomics for Healthcare Professionals* at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) as guest of honour. The session was graced by Prof. Nasir Saleem Saddal, Executive Director (NICH), Dr. Naima Zamir, Pediatric Surgeon, Yogi Wajahat- Yoga and Mind Sciences expert and session Speaker & Advisor (Pakistan Health Parliament), along with other esteemed doctors and professionals. In the end Prof. Nasir Saddal ED NICH Presented momentos to Dr.Aftab Khan and Yogi Wajahat. Thanks to the organisers for inviting in the session.

"It's Time to Act" World Hepatitis Day (WHD) takes place every year on 28 July, bringing the world together under a single theme to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and to influence real change. On World Hepatitis Day, 28 July, we call on people from across the world to take action and raise awareness of hepatitis because Hepatitis Can’t wait. With a person dying every 30 seconds from a hepatitis related illness, we can’t wait to act on viral hepatitis. People living with viral hepatitis unaware can’t wait for testing. People living with hepatitis can’t wait for life-saving treatments. Expectant mothers can’t wait for hepatitis screening and treatment. Newborn babies can’t wait for birth dose vaccination. People affected by hepatitis can’t wait to end stigma and discrimination Community organisations can’t wait for greater investment. Decision makers can’t wait and must act now to make hepatitis elimination a reality through political will and funding.
19-07-2025: Today at Dow University of Health Sciences a session on " Stress and Burnout" was conducted in the collaboration with "Pakistan Health Parliament" and 'DUHS'. A Large number of students and faculty members attended the session. Thank you Dr.Fakhsheena and her team for arranging such a nice programme. In the end Prof.Dr. Sumbul Shamin awarded the momentos to presenters. Below are some pictures of session.
