This is a fly I always have on hand when fishing creek smallmouth. 🎣
I use the Drop Craw as both a drop-shot and drifting pattern. It fishes great under an indicator, and it can also be retrieved or hopped on a drop-shot rig modified for the fly rod.
Versatile, effective, and it catches just about anything that eats craws. 🦞

This little white Dub Bugger has caught smallmouth bass, trout, largemouth bass, and northern pike while fishing Ohio creeks. It's one of my go-to flies for spring and has earned a permanent spot in my fly box.
