I’m Chauhan Ashutosh, a 19-year-old chess commentator, not a professional player. My goal is to make chess easy to understand for everyone, whether you're a beginner or an experienced player !!
I’ve decided to stop streaming, not because I can’t, but because I’ve come to realize I simply don’t want to chase numbers anymore.
I’ve never claimed to be some top-level or competitive chess player. And to be honest, I don’t even want to be one. That was never the goal.
If you're into watching people shout, crack jokes, and entertain on live streams just for the sake of it, there are plenty of creators doing that. But that’s not me, and not what I want to offer.
What I truly enjoy is creating meaningful content. I love explaining ideas clearly, diving deep into classic games, and sharing the beauty of chess in a way that actually helps people understand and grow. That’s where I feel at home, not in front of a live chat box, but behind the scenes crafting something thoughtful.
So from now on, my focus is fully on educational, insightful, and value-packed content. If you’ve ever enjoyed my commentary or learned something from one of my breakdowns, good news, that’s exactly what’s coming next. And it’s only going to get better.
To those who found me through my streams, thank you, genuinely. Your support made that chapter meaningful. But this isn’t the end. It’s simply a new direction with more depth and clarity.
That said, let me clear one thing. I’m saying goodbye to sharing my personal chess gameplay for good. Even outside of streams, I’ve never posted my own games on the channel, and that’s because I don’t think my playing strength deserves that spotlight. I’m not here to present myself as a strong player. I’m here to share perspective, analysis, and insight.
And if I ever decide to go live again in the future, it’ll be for commentary, not gameplay. You might see me doing live analysis, but never pushing pieces myself. That part is done.
It’s time to speak less, but say more. Let’s grow together!!
In the 19th century, a famous game featured a stunning queen sacrifice that left spectators in shock. This brilliant move was later named after the losing player instead of the winner—something quite rare in chess history!
