Now idk about y'all, but Game Awards got me interested in Screamer (2026). Originally, this was an old racing game released somewhere in the mid 90s and is basically Ridge Racer, but with IRL cars.
The way the reveal trailer was animated really goes to show the potential racing games as a genre has. Nowadays, every racing game wants to achieve the most realistic graphics and that often leads to games like Need for Speed, Forza Horizon, Assetto Corsa, etc. looking the exact same. Milestone, the people who made Hot Wheels Unleashed, might've cooked with this one.
