Some costumes are too beautiful to sit in a closet after being worn once. This channel gives me a chance to re-wear some of my favorite creations and tell you a little bit about the costumes, the context in which it was worn, and the design and history behind the garment.

Happy Holidays from Ivy and Sundance!
As I’m entering the new year I’m thinking a lot about the kind of content I like to make and that you like to see. In the past I’ve done some long form sewing related content, but I didn’t love making it, and it didn’t perform especially well. I’ve mostly focused on making shorts since that’s what performs well so presumably it’s what people like to see.
I thought I’d reach out to you gorgeous people to see what you’re most interested in. Vlogs? Sewing adventures? Tutorials? Informative history stuff? Shorts or more long form?
I’m totally willing to try out new stuff! You just never know what works.

Life update! I'm going to fashion school. I guess my other two degrees just didn't feel like enough so now I have to go back for another. My goal is to publish historical patterns, and maybe even start my own line of historical garments some day. My interview for acceptance is today, wish me luck.

Hey everyone! You can come see me in person this Friday at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa. I’m giving a presentation on the history of French fashion throughout the lifetime of Renoir and you can come learn more about fashion history and of course admire all the gorgeous paintings at Philbrook. Hopefully I’ll see you there!
