Currency is fungible: if I give a friend $20 and they give me two $10 notes, I still have $20. There is no change in the amount of money I have, as the indistinguishable units of currency are interchangeable. But this is not the case for intelligence. theunhappyman.substack.com/p/intelligence-is-not-f…
What if subjective belief is not as important as we’re told by contemporary ideologies? What if one’s personal truth is ultimately a public act, not an inner reality? Or, in other words, does what you believe not matter as much? Watch here: https://youtu.be/hIhvz2PdwNA
Why were an eclectic group of continental philosophers ignored in 20th-century Anglophone philosophy? Was it for political reasons or something deeper? Watch here: https://youtu.be/cE7-2xJdIcA
Multiculturalism serves the human condition better because subjectivity is not at one with itself. It is better to have this reflected in a culture. The social world that structures the deepest parts of who we are should bear witness to the fact that neither the individual human self nor a culture is a homogeneous whole, but rather incomplete. The sooner we accept this existential given, the better.

Friend of the podcast @nicolashinrichs (https://youtu.be/Lg_DnleZq18) is calling for papers on social neuroscience. Nico is doing fascinating work on geometric hyperscanning, inter-brain synchrony and active inference inspired by Barad's agential realism.
