Žalvarinis is the best known Lithuanian folk rock band formed in Vilnius in 2001. Band was created by composer, producer, guitarist & vocalist - Robertas Semeniukas. The music of the band is a synthesis of archaic folk and contemporary styles of music from blues to progressive rock. Exeptional, contrastive sound is produced combining ancient authentic folk art with modern music. During the two decades of its existance Žalvarinis has released 12 studio albums.
