One of my greatest thrills as a professional musician has been the opportunity it’s given me to talk about the music I love and to turn other people onto it. Now I’m even more thrilled to have my own show on SiriusXM because I can do more than just talk about it, I can actually play it! I'll be featuring music by many bands that have been associated with progressive music over the years, covering classics and deep cuts, the old and the new, the obvious and the unexpected.
Intrigue: The Progressive Rock Show with Steven Wilson, will be a monthly show and the first episode launched yesterday on Deep Tracks (Ch. 308), with additional broadcasts throughout the week (see below). You can also stream full episodes anytime on the SiriusXM app or web player: www.siriusxm.com/blog/steven-wilson-deep-tracks

I recently had the honour of remixing @philcollins eighties defining No Jacket Required album into Dolby Atmos for a new blu-ray edition. The blu-ray also features a dedicated 5.1 mix and both my new stereo mix (as always a step along the way to the surround versions), and the original stereo mix in high resolution.
Released in the same year as the musical watershed moment of Live Aid, the album was massive - and deservedly so, it’s simply one of the best pop records from an era of so many brilliant pop records.
This new edition of No Jacket Required will be released on 12th September 2025: philcollins.lnk.to/NJR-40
Two very special evenings in Spain brought the European leg of The Overview tour to a close, 31 concerts in 44 days, nearly all of them sold out, and I couldn’t have hoped for a better response, to the point that I honestly can’t remember when I’ve had so much fun on a tour before! The show continued to evolve across the 6 weeks, such that we were still changing it up and adding new music to the repertoire almost until the end (with Staircase given its live premiere in Zurich). As well as my incredible band, Randy, Adam, Nick and Craig, there were another 15 wonderfully talented people behind the scenes committed to creating something magical and unique with every performance. So I want to thank all of them for doing me and everyone that came along proud. The next leg will cover the USA, Canada and South America, starting in mid September, I can’t wait!
After narrowly missing out on a UK number one earlier this year with The Overview, it’s a wonderful consolation that my mix of the soundtrack to Pink Floyd at Pompeii has landed at the top spot this week, the band’s seventh career UK number one! This is an incredible achievement for what is essentially a 54 year old live recording. I can’t think of any other band other than The Beatles for whom this might have been possible, which just goes to show how much @pinkfloyd still mean to so many in 2025, including myself. Congratulations to the members, Lana Topham who project managed the restoration of the film version, and to the team at Sony for whom this represents an outstandingly auspicious first release under their new curatorship of the band’s catalogue. If you’ve picked up the album I really hope you’ve enjoyed it!
It’s been a surreal and overwhelming return to the stage during the first week of The Overview tour, and I’ve been totally blown away by the response. Thank you to everyone who came to the shows in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf and Brussels, you helped to make them an exhilarating experience. Next up 8 shows in the UK, including 4 in my home town of London…no pressure then!
