Welcome! My name is Kayde, and I have spent the last 8 years of my life on a treacherous journey to figure out what’s going on with my health. In 2016, I developed rashes, blistering, daily 104 degree fevers, excruciating migraines, fatigue so deep I struggled with basic living tasks like getting dressed and sitting up on my own. I became disoriented, struggled to walk without falling, experienced numbness and tingling in my extremities and back, burning and tingling sensations, memory loss, chest pain, muscle weakness, bone pain, night sweats.
Over the years, I’ve seen 40+ specialists, have had countless procedures and tests, and still sometimes feel like we start all over again every single day.
I’m here, in this space, because the chronic illness community is disregarded, left behind. There aren’t enough resources to support the millions of humans who are living with an unknown illness, without an ounce of control over their bodies. All we have is each other. Our community.

Good morning, beautiful humans! ✨ I hope your weekend was filled with everything that brings small, medium, and large glimmers to your soul. ✨☺️
Wherever you are this morning: mentally, emotionally, cognitively, or physically, I hope that you find the strength to anchor yourself in EVERYTHING that YOU are. There is only ONE of you in this world, and YOU are a vital part of so many people’s worlds, including your own.
What we live with on a daily basis can just completely gut us. It can rob us of being able to identify even just a small piece of who we once were, but what we fail to recognize through the haze is that we are exactly where we need to be. We were “gifted” with challenges that others couldn’t fathom being able to weather, and so if we just dedicate our souls to finding our spark within the haze, we will be able to thrive in our individualized parameters and elevate our perspectives.
What’s a life of dwelling on the things we cannot do, when there is so much left that we CAN do!! Find those glimmers, sweet friends. They are everywhere. ❤️🩹✨

Hello my beautiful friends! ✨
I wanted to share a quick update. I’m going to pause my weekly Monday Mindset posts for now so I can focus more fully on my weekend long-form videos.
I’m navigating some health challenges and about to start a new treatment, and right now it’s really important to me that the content I put out is thoughtful, well-supported, and sustainable — not rushed or forced.
Monday Mindsets aren’t going away forever. I’ll be bringing them back when my capacity allows, and I’ll also sprinkle in short-form videos here and there (I already have one ready to go ☺️).
Thank you for being such a kind, patient, and understanding community. I’m so incredibly grateful you’re here.

Hello my beautiful friends!!! Happy weekend to you! I am experiencing significant difficulties with the audio on this week’s video. I have re-uploaded it 6 times which has put me into a spoon deficit. 😅 I’m going to take a break and see if I can fix it later today.
As a result, this week’s video will be posted at 10am tomorrow (Sunday) this week. I’m SO sorry for the delay! Thank you so much for your flexibility and understanding! ♥️

Good morning, beautiful friends! It’s a rough one over in my neck of the woods (is that still a saying?!!! 😜) I have been stuck in a flare and am now “normal” person sick on top of all of my other symptoms. 😵 Annnndddd then you add on another Monday.
Mondays can feel especially heavy when your body has been struggling for a long time.
When you feel like this every day—not just during a flare—it slowly takes pieces of you with it. Creativity, motivation, joy… they don’t disappear because you don’t care. They disappear because you’re tired.
If you’re feeling worn down today—like even the bare minimum is too much—I just want you to know you’re not alone.
You’re not lazy. You’re not failing.
You’re carrying something hard.
Be gentle with yourself today. That’s enough! ♥️

Good morning, my sweet friends! ✨
I hope this message finds you feeling rested and peaceful. 😌
This morning, I want to share something a bit more vulnerable with you.
I’ve been showing up here for about a year now—through flares, full-time work, medical appointments, and days when my body has very limited capacity. This channel is something I pour my energy into because I believe so deeply in creating a space where chronic illness is met with gentleness, truth, and understanding.
I’m realizing that growing a space like this isn’t something I can do alone. If my videos have ever helped you feel seen, understood, or a little less alone in your body, I’d love to gently ask for your help.
If you feel comfortable, would you consider sharing my channel with someone who might benefit? A friend, a loved one, or someone you know who’s navigating chronic illness and could use a softer voice in their feed.
Thank you for being here, for listening, and for helping shape this community into what it is. It means more to me than I can ever fully express.
And if sharing isn’t accessible for you right now, simply being here is more than enough. ♥️
A little peek into my weekend!

✨GOOD MORNING✨, my sweet friends! Happy New Year! 🎊
My deepest hope is that you were gentle with yourself. That you didn’t push through symptoms to benefit someone else. That you rested without guilt, only engaged in activities that filled your soul with joy. And above all, that you were able to find ways to celebrate that were softly healing. 💫
If I can be vulnerable for a minute, I’m really, really proud of myself this year. I made zero plans. No outfits, no photos, no elaborate meals, no expectations. I’m fairly certain we ate frozen pizza on Christmas Eve, and I’d be willing to bet that the absolute joy and contentment I experienced far surpassed the 3 layer cake + appetizers + multiple course meal we made last year!
It’s about the moments. The memories. That’s what you’ll remember. And I’ll remember time on the couch. SO. MUCH. TIME. ON. THE. COUCH. ☺️😌
Sending you all restful vibes as you embark on the first week of the new year.
Check out this week’s Monday Mindset video. It’s all about setting intentions vs. resolutions. ♥️

✨ Hi my sweet friends,
I wanted to share a quick update — I’m taking this week and next week off to fully care for my body and pour into rest, loved ones, slow mornings, reflection, and preparing my heart for 2026. ♥️
I’ll be back with a Monday Mindset on Monday, January 5th — and I cannot wait to step into a new year with you!
As chronically ill humans, we live modified lives — and that is OKAY. We were never meant to chase someone else’s version of “normal”. Who decided their pace was the standard? 😵💫 There is so much beauty in living gently. In noticing the light through the window, the warmth of tea in your hands, laughter that turns into tears with someone who truly sees you, the comfort of a pet curled at your feet, the peace of choosing bed over plans without guilt. These little moments are our gold. ⭐️
As we move into a new year, instead of setting big resolutions or measuring ourselves by what didn’t get done… let’s reflect with compassion:
♥️ Where were you one year ago?
♥️ What tiny steps brought you to where you are today?
♥️ Where do you want to be next year — and what small daily things might ripple into big change?
Maybe your health declined this year. Maybe you didn’t hit goals you hoped for. You’re not behind. You didn’t fail. Your journey is purposeful, even if confusing or painful at times. We were given the gift of slowness — the gift of noticing life more vividly than most. Of feeling the meaning in tiny ordinary moments: soft pajamas after a long shower, sharing a quiet meal with someone you love, watching snowfall or sunsets, holding someone’s hand during a hard night, being alive to witness it all.
None of us know how much time we have, so let’s live deeply in the present we do have. 💫
Thank you for being here with me — for your resilience, your softness, your courage. I’m sending you so much love as we close this chapter and breathe open the next. 🌿
Take care of your body generously. Rest without guilt. Savor the small things.
I’ll see you 1/5.
With love always,
Kayde ♥️✨

✨Monday Mindset: Gentle Christmas Week✨
Hello, my sweet friends! Just a little note for you as we move into Christmas week. ♥️🎄
If your body feels heavy, tired, flared, or tender — please know you are not doing anything wrong. Your body doesn’t suddenly have more capacity just because it’s a holiday week.
You don’t have to push.
You don’t have to perform joy.
You don’t have to show up in ways that cost you your health.
It is more than okay to slow down, rest more than usual, change plans, cancel plans, or keep things small and quiet this year. Protecting your body is not selfish — it’s an act of deep self-respect.
I hope you’re gentle with yourself this week. I hope you choose softness wherever you can. And I hope you remember that you are already enough, exactly as you are, even on the days when all you can do is get through.
Sending you so much love. I’m right here with you ❤️🩹
Photos: I truly did not move from this spot the entire weekend. Reliant on my heating pad, pushing to ensure I didn’t miss out on vital nutrients, and just whatever I could to nourish my body’s needs. Completely surrendered. I’m proud of myself for that. ☺️ I hope you feel proud for every ounce of energy you exert to feel your best, no matter how that looks! ♥️

✨Monday Mindset: The Holiday Permission Slip✨
Good morning, my sweet friends! After a jam packed week of medical appointments (26 total hours 😳🥴) the reality of how rapidly the holidays are approaching hit me like a ton of bricks. Rather than allowing myself to spiral, I stopped and reminded myself that there are NO expectations. Only the ones I place on myself.
The holidays can be loud, demanding, and full of expectations—especially from people who don’t live in your body.
But you only get one body.
One nervous system.
One immune system.
One chance to protect your long-term health.
If honoring that means:
• skipping the party
• declining travel
• showing up late or leaving early
• wearing pajamas
• not showering
• doing less than expected
That is not failure.
That is wisdom.
And here’s the part people don’t like to hear—but need to: If someone can’t respect the way you care for your body, or refuses to even try to understand, they don’t deserve proximity to you.
Your health is not negotiable.
Your boundaries are not rude.
And rest is not something you earn—it’s something you require.
This season, choose your body.
Every time.
Sending so much love your way! ♥️
Photos: I’ve been prioritizing and conserving my energy exertion for the kitchen. It’s not only functional, but it fuels my soul. 💫 Focus on the activities that make you feel like you. Do more of them. Do less of the things that don’t. Our bodies deserve every ounce of healing we can get!
1. I sage my home every year around this time! Out with stale energy! ✨
2. I love making curries. So nourishing and healing. 🍜
3. Green chili pork palooza: a tribute to a family member who is going through a medically challenging time. 🙏
4. The universe always has your back. ✨💫🍃

✨Monday Mindset: How I Stop Morning Spirals✨
Good morning, my sweet friends! I hope you all had a nourishing weekend! Weekends for me feel like the only time I can truly be myself and prioritize my needs first, without guilt. 🍃
I know I’ve shared that I’ve been struggling with my mornings starting with a full-body spiral before I even sit up in bed. Raise your hand if you deplete your central nervous system before the day even starts! 🙋♀️
My brain jumps straight into panic mode:
“Everything you have to do today… how are you going to survive it? How will your body keep up?”
And honestly? It’s exhausting and depressing.
So I’m trying something new. Again. I will continue to try new strategies until I find the right fit!
Instead of letting those thoughts control the whole morning, I’m practicing shifting into the observer part of my brain.
Noticing the fear… without becoming it.
Remembering that with a dynamic disability, how I feel right now is not always how I’ll feel in 20 minutes.
And while I’m still lying in bed, I re-anchor myself in the present moment:
✨ the softness of my sheets
✨ the warmth of my coffee
✨ the quiet calm before the day starts
I remind myself:
I don’t have to solve the whole day before the day has even begun.
The anxiety can wait until the moment it’s actually needed — not 6 a.m.
If your mornings feel heavy too, I hope this helps you breathe a little deeper today. ♥️🌿
Sending you so much love as you tackle another week, no matter what that looks like for you! ❤️🩹
