Beware of the blue whale challenge guys. Apparently itās back again. Do not open messages from users with Jonathan Galindo as their profile picture. But do NOT block them , simply just delete the request. Note that Jonathan is not himself involved in this , these pictures are being used without his approval. This is NOT a joke. Stay safe guys.
Hi guys , this is from earlier on my Instagram story. Iām just sharing my thoughts but I thought I would share it here as well since I know most of you donāt follow my Instagram.
Hi guys itās me and today I have something important to share. I already posted this on my Instagram as well as an instruction on how to properly stream so you can check out that post if you want to , my Instagram is ytwhishy. What I want to say is that there is a video on YouTube where you basically stream to donate money to different funds that are in need. 100% of the revenue that is made by ads will be donated to these funds that are listed in the video. If you arenāt financially able to donate yourself then this is a great option! It seems like a lot of people think that just sharing a video on your story or posting a black picture and hashtaging blackouttuesday or black lives matter is enough and āoh now Iāve done my partā. No. Most people are already aware of the situation and everything thatās going on , and this isnāt something new. No, what is needed of you is to take action for real. This is not just another hashtag , this is not a trend , do not take it for that. Itās a protest , a movement , we all need to see it that way for us to make a change. Sign the petitions , donate money , educate yourself. Here is the link to sing the petition , ājustice for George Floydā: www.change.org/p/mayor-jacob-frey-justice-for-geor⦠And here is the video where you can stream to donate: https://youtu.be/bCgLa25fDHM Thank you for reading , stay safe guys and remember that staying silent is choosing the side of the oppressor.
I am disgusted. How can a human be so cold to take another persons life because of their skin color? And George didnāt even do anything wrong, not that it would make it right. He even agreed to get in the car even though he was innocent. He begged for his life. This canāt be saved with any excuse, the only way it could have been justified on the polices part is if it was self defense. That wasnāt it. George did not make any kind of resistance. This is just pure racism and these cops should not just be fired, they should be put in jail. This is a crime, a legal murderer, and sadly these types of murders are almost always overlooked. And what kind of society do we live in? When you see a person laying on the ground saying they canāt breathe, āit hurtsā, when you see that a police officer is overstepping their boundaries, why is your first instinct not to step in and help? Why is your first instinct to take up your mobile phone and film it? What kind of messed up society is this? Yes this incident shouldnāt go unnoticed and of course itās good that thereās proof, but not if it means it could have been prevented. How do you feel good about yourself if you see someone on the verge of dying and you just walk past? And letās not act like this was the first time, neither is it going to be the last. This is an ongoing problem, this happens everyday, maybe they donāt die everyday but itās no secret that cops often overstep their boundaries when the person is black. We were only lucky that this tragic incident is being acknowledged. But a life shouldnāt have to be sacrificed for this issue to finally be noticed. And black peoples life shouldnāt matter just because this happened. I saw no post about Black people last week. It is an issue left in the dark barely mentioned. Why is this only being acknowledged when someone has to lose their life and thereās footage of it? Black peoples lifeās matters EVERYDAY! This needs to be talked more about. How is this ever going to be solved if people only care about it when itās on the news and not the fact that it happens everyday and goes unnoticed. Now the damage has been done but I hope George didnāt lose his life for nothing.
