This is NOT the adventure we ordered!! What we thought would be a fun week driving Mom (Michel) and Dad down to their new home in AZ has ended up quite different than planned—The brakes on the trailer started a fire and we are currently stuck in Salina, KS. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND! We spent today clearing out the RV and loading into a U-Haul trailer. Lots of cold and mud!! But we’re ready to bring Mom and Dad back home to WI. We’re very sad for them-this was their home-and we were excited for their new adventures down south after their hiatus these last couple years. But that being said-we are SO GRATEFUL they are safe and that Eddie and I were with them to help out. AND, selfishly, we are glad they will be back “home” with all the family in WI. If you’ve ordered anything from the shop this week after seeing our items on @gayleagostinelli_ct or @SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS , please be patient with us-we will get them out ASAP as soon as we are back safe at home in WI.
