Hellllooooo - we are excited to share that the start of the countdown to the next TREAD expedition will be starting soon!! We have nothing but gratitude for your support and interest in our first expedition. Trudy is going to be taking semi retirement (you will still see her out on the roads in the UK and Europe - with our friends and family taking her on mini adventures) But the time has come to discover new places, meet new people and take you all on a mad road trip to new continents ... watch this space and thank you for your patience !! I am sharing this now with our Youtube Community ....
It is with much heartbreak and sorrow that we share that we lost our favourite Auntie. Julia was an inspiration to us both with her stories and tales from her adventures around the world and a role model to me (Marianne) to be a fearless and strong woman - you will be missed and our hearts are heavy - but never forgotten.
We will be heading over to Vancouver Island this week to take care of everything. We are grateful for your support and kind words and soon will be sharing some news about the build of our custom truck in Malaysia as we build up to the start of the next challenge.

What an amazing start to our very first TREAD group adventure in Kuala Lumpur! 🇲🇾
For many in the group, this is their very first time in Malaysia, so we’re packing in as much as we can. We took them to the Heli Lounge Bar – KL’s most iconic rooftop spot with incredible city views
From there, we headed straight into the buzz of Jalan Alor, the city’s famous food street, and shared a delicious feast at our favourite spot W.A.W Restaurant Sdn Bhd
It’s safe to say… they’re already falling in love with Malaysia ❤️

Hi everyone - we have arrived in Malaysia ready for our first ever TREAD tour - we are taking 2 groups on a tour around Sabah. Currently spending a few days in KL before we fly over - We are having a fun time showing them around this wonderful city.

We're excited to announce that we will be live on Youtube this Saturday at 5pm UK time. We've been very busy working on various things and we want to share them all with you. When are we starting our next expedition, where are we planning to go, which vehicle are we planning to do it in, whats happening to Trudy our van. We'll also be answering any questions you have on our plans, travel, overlanding, youtube and anything else you want to discuss. After a day talking at the Warners Shows in Somerset I am back to editing the Expedition Living series. If all goes to plan episode 6 should be nearly done by the end of the week. That will mean I am half way. Was it a good idea to dedicate months to producing a series - I mean there isn't really anything like it on Youtube to judge it on.

Not publishing weekly videos on Youtube for 3/4 of a year is risky, but in life you have to do things out of the box to see what happens - I mean who knows it could end up on the TV in years to come - and if I don't try I will never know.

But no matter what I know that I produced a series that I am proud of and hope that it inspires people to live their best life for years to come . That's why its called Expedition Living.


On a separate note the plans for the next adventure are going well and we will be posting details of a live chat very soon so we can tell you all about them. Its a BIG exciting 4 - 5 year trip !!!

Hope you are all having a good week. A little bit behind the scenes - We are progressing well with the Expedition Living series - Episode 5 is nearly there. I have gone through 5,295 video clips for just this episode and probably used around 500. To put it into perspective a normal weekly video may have around 300 clips in total. I am very grateful that I filed the footage carefully so its easier to find. The time line looks quite complicated and we still have to add in an effects, sounds, music, interview clips and any text overlays. We cant wait to finish the series to share it !!!

I've had a fabulous couple of days away from editing for my birthday. And was lovely to have our friends ‪@NaickKim‬ Adventures come and visit - We haven't seen them since we all hung out with them and ‪@chescaandben‬ on a beach in Mexico back in early 2023. Great couple of days and had to take them for their first pork pie in Ironbridge before BBQ and Beers.
