Backstory: A quiet, puzzle-loving girl raised by a detective father and debt-ridden mother. After her father's mysterious death and later finding her mother murdered, Yōko becomes a detective to uncover the truth. Her pursuit leads her to cross paths with the ADA, where she occasionally works with them to investigate the organization tied to her family's tragedy.
