In reference to that last post, I want to make some stuff clear,
I said Base Sanemi<Base Rengoku and under that post which some didn’t read was “still need to do more research on that take”, so for now I have Base Sanemi above unless someone can give me a hardcore, undebunkable argument for it.
As for the Base Sanemi>~Mark Muichiro take, people saying “they aren’t relative” and “Sanemi did better”, but this doesn’t take away the fact that Muichiro Marked and Base Sanemi at the very least should have comparable stats, nothing implied Sanemi is immediately has higher/better stats, Sanemi again, can only keep up with Koku due to experienced, if anything, Sanemi is more experienced than Muichiro, and yeah. They should at least be comparable stats wise.
And finally, for the “Mitsuri and Obanai having interchangeable spots” take, I only said this because I can see arguments for both being one spot above/below each other, but I guess Obanai is like 6th for me, and Mitsuri is 7th, due to better Muzan performance and Nakime stuff. Narrative is still debunkable tbh.
As for the other 2, my mind won’t change on either of them. No Mark Sanemi gets slammed, Obanai is bum material.
Muichiro VS Akaza. No Marked Mui Loses Marked Mui Loses
But with all amps, gains the victory easily.
STW lead Tanjiro, who’s weaker than Muichiro to behead and perception blitz Akaza, and also has selfless state (check @achilleankyber‘s post for that), and Red Blade which hinders regeneration for a while, along with Death AMP, but he may not need that since Muichiro evading Akazas attacks makes more sense to do than tanking Afterglow with the Transparent World.
Tanjiro even states the fact that movement speed and evasion increased when using the Transparent World, he doesn’t directly imply what movement speed is amped but it’s logical to assume his arms and legs, and Travel Speed ≠ Combat Speed, since if we take MTA Tan, he couldn’t perceive Akaza and Rengokus combat speed, but could see Akaza’s running and/or travel speed.
So yeah that’s my view on this. Muichiro with STW, RB and potential SS, Mid Diffs.
Honest to god, I’m not sure if imma be continuing powerscaling. I don’t really wanna anymore. I just wanna make edits and shit.. that’s all.
Idrc about haters allat much, but they do tend to get to yah.
I’ve been within the DS scaling community for a while and I’m suprised people like @sebtw8918@Prince_x02@Omni青 etc havent retired or stopped Demon Slayer scaling at all.
If anything imma just be making edits for fun, that’s all. I’m not leaving YT. Imma just switch it up and take a few breaks inbetween
If this guy is anywhere in your Top 5, please reread the manga 🙏 Base Obanai is like at best Zoha level, loses to Nakime. Marked Obanai should just stop around Akaza, Marked Giyu who’s vastly superior, was able to do better whilst poisoned and injured. “Oh but Obanai in Base was relative to Marked Giyu” Why we lying for no reason?? Hashira training shows the Hashira spared with each other, and Kokushibo’s whole statment on how well Gyomei and Sanemi coordinate attacks despite using diff breathing styles, and coordination doesn’t scale you anywhere or else it gives the false narrative that Base Obanai~Marked Gyomei. Marked Obanai should just beat Nakime and stop at Akaza.
Now STW Obanai, this is one of the harder ones to scale fully, I recommend not to scale this version since he’s practically featless, since he has it for like an instant, unless you think the shockwave blinding Obanai was intended to say he can maintain the amp, so he should at least be above Akaza in speed, along with RB, which should nerf the regeneration or prolong it for some time, he stops near Douma level for me. Only way Obanai could MAYBE reach T5, is if you use his STW feats but again, they are very featless and can’t really give a concrete scale for him.
Covering a misconception about Muichiro’s LSK feats, he did infact dodge 14th Form and didn’t lose his leg during it. Imma explain why but I need to summarise the fight rq.
Summary - Kokushibo acknowledges Muichiro’s presence in the fight and uses 14th Form attacking all 3 Hashira at the same time, Muichiro and Sanemi during this use the spaces that the attacks overlap to dodge, and after this short time, Gyomei uses one prayer bead to throw off UM1’s sight, and it gives Sanemi time to use 1st Form which Kokushibo evades easily, Gyomei then after that cleaves Koku’s sword with his mace, and then Muichiro lands a clean hit along with Gyomei. Kokushibo states Muichiro barely dodged the attacks with the bead’s aid of slowing the attack down, and finds out Muichiro used Transparent World.
Analysis -
Muichiro and Sanemi dodge Kokushibo’s 14th Form unscathed, by using the attack to their advantage to dodge, Muichiro should have STW here since he’s trying to get upclose to Kokushibo and as we all know, dodging upclose is harder than dodging from a distance, Muichiro even states his whole idea is to get close to slow down his attacks to get the others to get rid of Kokushibo. I find it hard to believe Muichiro was Marked during 14th Form, otherwise he would’ve been cooked due to his inexperience. Then, Gyomei uses his prayer bead to throw off Kokushibo’s sight, and this has to be a Kokushibo using STW since way before this, Gyomei wondered how Kokushibo was able to predict his attacks, and shortly after, Gyomei enters the STW, in which he takes the opportunity to strike and launch the bead to through off UM1’s sight. Kokushibo must’ve been predicting Gyomei’s attacks with the STW in order to counter them. Sanemi then uses 1st Form on Kokushibo and Kokushibo easily evades this, but Gyomei then cleaves his shoulder off, and Muichiro follows up by stabbing his stomach, now both of these attacks must be above Sanemi’s 1st Form (Gyomei>Mui>Sanemi), via if Sanemi was faster than STW Muichiro, he would’ve landed that attack but couldn’t land the attack. Now for Muichiro losing his leg and his artery was cut, this was a regular swing not a breathing technique, we see Kokushibo’s sword in a different area to where it was before Muichiro came in. (Images 4/5 for context)
As for the 10th Form feat, Muichiro was further away than Sanemi, and Sanemi couldn’t find an opening to dodge from, Muichiro also got in/out of the attack with Sanemi, Muichiro’s movements and reaction was above Sanemi’s at that moment so I think Mui had it saving Sanemi and dodging 14th Form.
(He didn’t have STW dodging the other attacks with Sanemi since that can be just a Marked Muichiro with long range perception)
STW Muichiro is above an injured Marked Sanemi but idk for a Healthy Mark Sanemi, they can prob be on the same level or Mui is above.
So overall scale STW/Mark Gyomei>STW/Mark Muichiro>~Marked Sanemi.
Now that I think about it. STW Muichiro has only got 2 consistent scales.
1. Using LSK feats getting his speed to be a outlier tier, outpaced multiple attacks from him, and if you think he was Marked due to Long Range perception during these feats, this would just get him below Douma and Akaza.
2. Upscaling him from ICA STW Tanjiro who’s above Akaza in speed, due to STW Tanjiro dodging Afterglow and after gains some injuries but still dodges most of the attacks. So this would be a consistent arg for Muichiro>Akaza.
With 2, there’s no real way for him to beat Douma. And with 1, it’s an outlier feat, so ig u could make an argument for using 1 to say he beats Douma.

Do I have this take? Yes
Am I proud? Yes.
This should just be obvious.

Yeah.
Takes that I have that are questionable but somewhat explainable.
