The Photographic Art Society of Royal College was founded in the year 1934 and it later changed the name to Royal College Photographic Society. In the year 1964, The Royal College Photographic Society was able to organize the first Inter-school Photographic Exhibition in Sri Lanka. Since then The Royal College Photographic Society has been proudly serving Royal College in many ways while enlightening young enthusiasts in the field of Photography.
As to our vision and mission, we have come a long way, manufacturing professionals in the field of Photography and serving The Royal College. In our society, we help all the members to gain knowledge in both theoretically and practically on the field while providing media coverage for all the important events in The Royal College calendar rendering service to our school in the best way we can and giving the members a great opportunity to gain experience in the field.
