AKIRA-KURØ formed in 2018 and debuted in 2019. The group name was created in the concept of "There are both white and black sides to the human" hence the name AKIRA means “light” and KURO means “black” in Japanese. We create soul-stirring songs with alternative rock music and cool images as a rock idol group. Our songs present disobeying injustice or unreasonable rules, also inspiring the audience to be themselves and encouraging them to never give up on dreams and life.
