Thinking back to when he was a little boy Brendon "Yung Image" always knew that one day he wanted to be in the music industry. Growing up, his father introduced him to cultural music while his two elder brothers exposed him to soca and dancehall. Given this, he knew that he would like to enter into the music industry whether it was for artistic reasons or simply just as a hobby. Born on a little island in the Caribbean called Grenada, the musical influence were mostly soca and calypso music but Image always preferred dance hall and reggae music. Old school reggae artistes like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Steel Pulse, Maxi Priest, Shabba Ranks and Buju Banton were just a few of his favourites.
