New duo The Smoky Caipirinhas (“Ky-peer-een-yas”) blends the disparate musicalities of a Brazilian percussionist and a British-American singer/pianist. Imagine Brazil’s piquant signature cocktail tinged with the smoky flavors of yesteryear’s jazz… seamless vocals and harmonies punctuated by playful and imaginative percussion. TSC brings reinterpretations of bossa nova classics, and American standards with a vaudeville flair…a dash of the international songbook, and the mixology is complete!
